We're discussing how Amberlynn's typical processed/ junkfood diet makes it difficult to control her intake. The food she chooses makes her want to eat more - and this is how. (Disclaimer: This video is for educational purposes and not meant to be offensive toward Amberlynn in anyway.) Amberlynn is a controversial weight loss youtuber known for gaining 200 pounds on her weight loss journey in front of her audience here on youtube. Though obesity and weight loss is a complicated issue - especially when dealing with a food addiction and binge eating disorder - we'll be discussing how Amberlynn Reid's diet contributes to her inability to control herself around food. Amberlynn's diet consists of a lot of fast food as well as processed food (mostly TV dinners). Northbend sink cave aka. spider hole cave is a very small cave located right next to the road going down pigeon mountain on the petty johns cave side. you climb into a very warm steamy pit (winter) and the entrance is a tight squeeze at the bottom. Once in It drops about 40 feet down through a series of drops that eventually leads to a short tight horizontal passage. we heard it connects to the stream passage in petty johns below but It would be really tight. There are big black spiders and huge groups of cave crickets everywhere in the cave.

I enjoyed building my previous two-wheel balancing robot, so I thought I'd move on a little and make a Sonic the Hedgehog robot with knees that can bend. I'll be using load cells in the legs to see if I can make active suspension - and then using this technique in openDog if it works out. The main construction is 3D prints and aluminium V-slot extrusion. This allows linear sliders on the back to run up and down to push the leg mechanism. I'm using 150KV 6374 bruhsless motors and ODrives to control the robot, along with a Teensy 3.6 and an MPU6050 for processing and stability. I'm a great believer in getting used to gigging early on, rather than waiting until you're perfect! This guy was clearly in that camp (good for him!) That got me thinking about the skills he could focus on that would give him the biggest improvement for the least effort when he next played with his band? And that turned into this video!

This cave is located about a third mile off one of the switchbacks going up pigeon mountain. It is the narrowest cave I have ever been in, and was just wide enough for a really skinny person, about a foot wide,(not even wide enough for my helmet.) It kept going in one direction but a bunch of large spiders blocked the way.

Avid CNC Benchtop Pro vs Mild Steel - can we cut steel on a desktop gantry router? Testing out recipes for cutting A36 mild steel on my Avid CNC Benchtop Pro CNC router, using the CNCDepot S30C 2.2kW spindle and a Fogbuster. Aluminum is comparatively more forgiving than steel, and it really becomes apparent on lighter desktop gantry routers. My Aluminum testing had some chatter, but generally cut well even on poorly optimized recipes. Spoiler: with some fiddling it's defnitely possible to cut mild steel on a gantry router, keep a good finish and maintain tolerances! End mill was a Lakeshore Carbide 1/4" variable 4 flute standard length end mill, AlTiN coating (L14MTMXZ) Typo at 4:41 - should say 0.0335" WOC, not 0.00335" 😅

Here's a pretty famous cheating story that you might have heard about. But even if you have we are going into the depths of the famous 1995 World Rally Championship Toyota turbo cheat. This happened in 1995, and the cheat was discovered by the FIA in the Rally Catalunya race in Spain. The cheat was committed by Toyota Team Europe, which was then Toyota's racing division in the World Rally Championship. Toyota Team Europe was racing the newly introduced Celica ST205 (successor to the very succesfull st185 and st165) What was the cheat? Well the cheat involved FIA mandated air restrictors that were installed onto the intake side of the turbos on WRC cars at this time (they are still in use today btw). FIA decided to introduce air restrictors to the WRC in order avoid the same accidents that shut down the coolest thing in rally history just a decade earlier. Yes, Group B, was shut down in 1986 pretty much because the cars were getting too fast and the crowds too crazy. The goal of the air restrictors was to tame down the cars and keep the crowds safe. But it is with the air restrictor that Toyota Team Europe saw the opprunity to execute it's brilliant cheat. In an example of engineering and mechanical brilliance a system that would push the restrictor out 5mm was devised. This let 25% more air into the turbo and ultimately into the engine which resulted in a power output of 30 - 50 hp. The brilliant part of the cheat was that the restrictor was in the legal position when removed from the car and in the illegal position when installed back. It was so well made that it managed to impress the people that are there to stop cheating and enforce the rules. Max Mosley who was then president of the FIA couldn't hide his enthusiasm for the cheat: "“It’s the most ingenious thing I have seen in 30 years of motorsport.” said Mosley. He was also very impressed with the craftsmanship: “Inside it was beautifully made. The springs inside the hose had been polished and machined so not to impede the air which passed through. To force the springs open without the special tool would require substantial force. It is the most sophisticated and ingenious device either I or the FIA’s technical experts have seen for a long-time. It was so well made that there was no gap apparent to suggest there was any means of opening it.” However, Mosley did what any FIA president would do, in the interest of motorsport he punished Toyota Team Europe and stripped them of all of their 1995 season points and banned them from racing in 1996. #d4a #toyota #wrc
