D4A Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/d4a This is a pretty special video as it condenses the entire 5 year car restoration project of my Toyota MR2 into 10 minutes. It starts all the way back from when I bought my AW11 MR2 more than 5 years ago, through all the rebuilds, restoration, the highs and the lows up until today when I am finally enjoying my MR2 the way I have always imagined. All the big moments are in this car build project time lapse video, from the very first engine rebuild, to my transmission rebuild, the suspension rebuild, the brakes rebuild, the second engine rebuild with the bike carb conversion and many other key moments that defined my MR2, and me as well, and it all happens in just a bit over 10 minutes. It's a car transformation but a personal transformation going on behind the scenes as well. Why did rod knock happen the first time around? Well I sandblasted my engine block to make it look like new again and to apply an engine enamel paint onto it. I religiously washed my block afterwards, but washing an engine block after blasting is actually impossible as the blast media gets embedded in the metal and it lets go only when the engine reaches operating temperature for the first time. This is what killed my engine the first time around. Lesson learned: Do NOT sandblast your engine block. #d4a #mr2mk1 #4age #aw11 #sw20 #zzw30 #jdm #trd #ae86 #ae92 #toyota #bikecarbsoncars #touge #bikecarbconversion #cartransformation Music: Nightstop - Harrison Ford https://youtu.be/Iij7U6eE5lo Timbral - Speed of Time https://youtu.be/rUPF8FrkTWQ driving 4 answers is part of the amazon associates program

What role did the business sector play for the end of Apartheid in South Africa? Prof. Ian Shapiro discusses business and the backstory of South Africa's transition, revisits modernization theory and business attitudes to authoritarianism and democracy; and provides an overview of South Africa before, during and after the transition. How did we get from the huge euphoria that followed the fall of communism in the early 1990s to our present politics of fear and resentment, and what are the prospects going forward? This DeVane Lecture series course entitled “Power and Politics in Today’s World” with Professor Ian Shapiro answered some of those questions. This course in the fall of 2019 was open to Yale students and the general public. Ian Shapiro is the Sterling Professor of Political Science and Global Affairs at Yale University. He has written widely and influentially on democracy, justice, and the methods of social inquiry. The DeVane Lecture series was established in 1969 to honor William Clyde DeVane, dean of Yale College from 1939 to 1963. Nederlandse energiebedrijven zullen miljoenen tonnen hout gaan importen. ZEMBLA doet daarom onderzoek naar de biomassa-industrie. How do we get democracies, and how do we keep them? Prof. Ian Shapiro leads the audience through the four waves of democratization and discusses four types of democratic transitions. He then talks about the dynamics of negotiated settlements and their likelihood of success, failure and inclusiveness by using South Africa, Northern Ireland and the Middle East as examples. I've been experimenting with simulated springs using back-driveable gearboxes with ODrive Brushless motor drivers to hold their positions, and of course current increases to hold the motor in position as they are 'sprung' away from their position. This allows dynamic control of the virtual spring tension. I also implemented a controller to partially drive the motor to a new position if the leg is forced away from it's target. This controller allow dynamic control over the compliance of the virtual spring. Using an Inertial measurement using to measure roll of the whole machine, I'm able to alter compliance on each leg to make it dynamically and actively stable. This is only a test for compliance of robotic legs - there are no other axis for walking. ① HARDWARE/SOFTWARE What more important hardware is there in life than the clothes on your back and the cup in your hand. When you think about the Trojan War (which we know you do a lot), you probably think about the great fight between Achilles and Hektor or maybe the MASSIVE wooden horse the Greeks used to finally defeat the Trojans after 10 long years of war. However, we're guessing what you DON'T think of is the Greek heroes Ajax and Achilles hunched over a tiny game of dice. Curator Victoria Donnellan is going to change that for you with a black figure amphora. Here's a video of me enjoying my Toyota MR2 the way it's meant to be enjoyed. Driving briskly on a twisty mountain road. This is a pure sound video, without any music or any talking. Nothing but the sounds of the itbs from the bike carb 4age echoing through the mountain. D4A Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/d4a A little explanation when it comes to the driving here. This was my first time on this mountain road, I chose it because of the scenery and I wasn't trying anything other than to have fun. The truck overtake was 100% safe, I don't have a death wish and never overtake unless I'm certain it's clear. The hairpin turn was a failure, but I put it in the video because it happened the way it did and I don't do fake content. What actually happened is that I was on throttle trying to maintain that little drift, but the wet patch at the exit of the hairpin (you can see it in the video too) caught me off guard and one wheel started spinning like crazy all of a sudden dragging me quickly into the other lane. #d4a #4age #mr2 #drive #povdrive #touge #itb #itbs #bikecarb4age #mr2mk1 #toyota #aw11 #corolla #initiald #ae86 #ae92 #ae111 #sw20 #zzw30 #fx16 #4age16v #4age20v #puresound D4A (driving 4 answers) is part of the amazon associates program

See the new review of a re-engineered Gixie clock here: https://youtu.be/IuOxfHF-azs Remember the Cronixie clock kit I assembled a while ago? - https://youtu.be/miqN2gR1Zns Here’s the Gixie clock - It's similar but ready-made and this one encloses its edge-lit acrylic digit panels inside tubes. Whilst the idea definitely has merit, the implementation on this early production version has more than a few issues. Hopefully all the problems have been ironed out by now - here’s the Indiegogo page: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gixie-clock-most-beautiful-nixie-tube-clock--2 UPDATE: According to the Indigogo page the issues with mine should not be present on the current batch: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gixie-clock-most-beautiful-nixie-tube-clock--2#/updates/all See the new review of a re-engineered Gixie clock here: https://youtu.be/IuOxfHF-azs PFAQ (Predicted FAQ) Q) Why is there a picture of a cheese sandwich on screen at the beginning? A) A while ago on Patreon I coined the phrase ‘A cheese sandwich video’ to describe a simple video that’s exactly what it is and nothing more - just like a cheese sandwich is a sandwich containing cheese. A cheese sandwich video is simpler video that doesn’t take weeks to assemble. It’s usually a brief demonstration of one item. If you see a cheese sandwich image pop up at the start of a video - it's a sign to expect a less complicated and elaborate video. Sometimes all a product needs (or deserves) is a simple demonstration - and that’s where the ‘cheese sandwich‘ video comes in. Sometimes a cheese sandwich is all you need. ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 -------------Merchandise----------------- https://teespring.com/stores/techmoan-merch -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan *******Patrons usually have early access to videos******* ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM

Most of the coal on earth was created during a single short period of geological history 300 million years ago. It's called the carboniferous period. Find out why coal production stopped so abruptly. CORRECTIONS So this video was quite rushed because I wanted to get it out in time for the #teamtrees launch. Here are a couple of things I got wrong: Not ALL coal was made during the carboniferous period. There exists some younger coal here and there that formed under rare conditions that enabled it in spite of the presence of capable fungi. I did film myself saying that but it was lost it my rushed edit. Photosynthesis is more complicated than I described. It involves water for a start. And it seems that the oxygen released during photosynthesis comes from the H₂O not the CO₂. Though I haven't be able to verify that. And here's a non-correction! The thing I was holding up at the start was not charcoal. It was a coal dust briquette. You could argue that the briquette was made recently but the coal it's made of is old! So yeah, the thrust of the video still stands but it's been a learning opportunity for me! A final thought on planting trees for carbon capture. A lot of comments saying "what's the point? When the trees die the decomposers will release the CO₂ back into the atmosphere. But really this is more about planting *forests*. In a forest, when a tree dies, another tree grows in its place recapturing the carbon. But also, it's my understanding that it takes a very long time to release the CO₂. Like hundreds of years. So in terms of tackling climate change which is a problem of human time scales, it's a useful endeavour. Critic reviews start at 6:38; The Megadrive Mini / Genesis Mini is here. In fact, it has now been here a while, but FINALLY I have got round to looking at it. But as normal, I'm more concerned with the past than the present, so I thought we could look at the Megadrive Mini / Genesis Mini games, and find out exactly what critics thought at the time. After all, there are plenty of Genesis Mini reviews. So let's delve back to the 1990s and see how much fuss these titles actually caused, let's look at the excitement, let's feel the energy surrounding them, rather than just plodding through like a disjointed ghost of Christmas past. Oh, also, I take the controller apart, and have a look at the Mega CD easter egg. Because, well, I can, and I wanted to. In this lecture, Professor Shapiro discusses supply of and demand for money in politics. He provides an overview of myths and realities on courts in American politics, discusses the first amendment since Buckley v. Valeo, the importance of the changing media context, and finally the demand for money in an area of weak parties. This has lead some conspiracy theorists to argue that Christians copied the ankh for their own religious symbol: the cross. This his basically false, BUT there is a very interesting exception: the crux ansata...a Christian cross that syncretizes with the Egyptian ankh. What does this tell us about early Christianity?
In Nederland eten we nauwelijks kalfsvlees.

All these organisations do invaluable work. The reason APH are mentioned specifically in this video is because they made the machine I’m demonstrating. If RNIB had made it, they’d be the ones getting the mention. Similar organisations US has APH UK has RNIB Canada has CNIB Germany has DBSV Australia has RSB These are the top five subscriber countries. ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 -------------Merchandise----------------- https://teespring.com/stores/techmoan-merch -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan *******Patrons usually have early access to videos******* ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM
