Brand New Sega Megadrive unboxing. I could call it a Sega Genesis unboxing, but that would be technically false. But anyway, Yes! You heard it, I picked up a brand new old stock Sega Mega Drive at auction, and I'm going to break those 30 year old seals to reveal the treasure within. Hold onto your waste packets for some retro unboxing asmr action, of the best kind. PRISTINE I tell ye. PRISTINE. After almost 5 years of ownership it's time finally detail the AW11 and loose the barn find look! This is one of those massively long videos full of completely unedited nonsense with tiny bits of useful information scattered around randomly. So what are we doing in this vid? We start of by filling up with gas, washing an oily bucket, and then actually washing the aw11, we then we watch some YouTube, and then clay bar, then we polish and wax and we also sing and dance! One of the best ways I know of really understanding the guitar neck is to start combining and overlaying scales, arpeggios, pentatonics in multiple fingerings and use it to give you a multi-layered holistic view of the whole neck. This week I show you how I go about doing this with the pentatonic and standard 3 note per string scale positions. A PDF of this can be downloaded here... http://bit.ly/2Y9R1CF

How to kerf bend both plywood and solid wood quickly and easily. Thanks to Dollar Shave Club for sponsoring. Go to http://DollarShaveClub.com/MakeSomething to get your first starter set for $5! There are 3 common ways to bend wood; steam bending, bent lamination and the technique used in this video called kerf bending. Out of the three, kerf banding is in most cases the quickest and easiest method and doesn't require any special jigs. The process if fairly simple in which you make a series of kerfs in your wood spaced apart depending on your desired radius. The kerf is cut almost all the way through leaving a little more than a 1/16 skin (veneer) on top. This skin is thin enough to allow it to bend and can be held in place with glue. I prefer using polyurethane (Gorilla Glue) for this technique as it expands when it comes in contact with water filling the gap. This wood bending technique works with both plywood and solid wood. In this tutorial video we go over how many kerfs to cut, spacing and depth without getting into unnecessary math. I use the kerf bending technique to make a stylish coat rack and at the end of the video I'll go over some tips and tricks to get up bending wood with ease! The Apollo 11 moon landing encounters the Philips UFO. Depending upon what source you read, the date for the introduction of the Philips UFO turntable might vary. Multiple sources indicate that the design was done by Patrice Dupont in 1969 - these include https://sound-of-design.de/en/node/188 - and the book “L'utopie du tout plastique : 1960-1973”. However other online sources state the GF303 was manufactured from 1972-1974. Irrespective of which one is correct, it’s irrefutably a classic space-age design. COMMENTS: Unfortunately as soon as this video was posted the comments were immediately inundated with individuals promoting their own agendas and conspiracy theories. As a result of this, other viewers complained that the comments needed moderating because of all the spam. I therefore pinned a notice to advise that comments would be moderated - however that idea got the free speech advocates up in arms. So here's what I'm doing - I'm just going to let the comments do their own thing - I won't be reading them and I won't be moderating them. I will be offline today, working on another video. It's up to each individual to decide whether to read the comments. The ratio of comments to views is one stat to keep in mind though if you do choose to read them. Approximately only 1% of viewers comment on any given video. Most comments are friendly and helpful - the unpleasant ones only represent a fraction of that one percent of viewers. So it might be wise not to spend too long thinking about a statistical rounding error. If anyone wants to post their agenda on YouTube they should make their own video about it rather than trying to piggyback on a video about a record player. ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 -------------Merchandise----------------- https://teespring.com/stores/techmoan-merch -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan *******Patrons usually have early access to videos******* ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM

I this weeks class we learn about Conditional Value at Risk and Stress Testing. These classes are all based on the book Trading and Pricing Financial Derivatives, available on Amazon at this link. https://amzn.to/2WIoAL0 Check out our website http://www.onfinance.org/ Follow Patrick on twitter here: https://twitter.com/PatrickEBoyle What Is Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR)? Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR), also known as the expected shortfall, is a risk assessment measure that aims to quantify the amount of risk an investment portfolio has. CVaR is derived by taking a weighted average of the “extreme” losses in the tail of the distribution of possible returns, beyond the value at risk (VaR) cutoff point. Conditional value at risk is used in portfolio optimization as part of risk management. Understanding Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) attempts to address the shortcomings of the VaR model, which is a statistical technique used to measure the level of financial risk within a firm or an investment portfolio over a specific time frame. While VaR represents a worst-case loss associated with a probability and a time horizon, CVaR is the expected loss if that worst case threshold is ever crossed. CVaR, in other words, quantifies the expected losses that occur beyond the VaR breakpoint.

An intricate and lengthy account of several different computer chess topics from my SIGBOVIK 2019 papers. We conduct a tournament of fools with a pile of different weird chess algorithms, ostensibly to quantify how well my other weird program to play color- and piece-blind chess performs. On the way we "learn" about mirrors, arithmetic encoding, perversions of game tree search, spicy oils, and hats. Papers: http://tom7.org/chess/ No animals nor automata were harmed in the filming.

The Oppo Reno has the weirdest motorized camera that Ive ever seen. It is a mechanical pop up camera that shoots up at an angle. The OPPO Reno also has a more premium version with a 10x hybrid optical zoom camera integrated into the back. What mechanical pop up camera do you think is best? The 'normal' pop up like the OnePlus 7 pro, the Flip up? The pivoting camera like you see here on the Reno? or the type where the whole back panel shifts up like the Oppo Find X? Stranger Things 3: The Game is here, and so, armed with my Nintendo Switch, and a deep sense of nostalgia towards isometric games, I thought I'd give it a whirl. It's strange because, other than a mobile game in 2017, I can't remember seeing a previous Stranger Things Game. Still, let's delve in. ** For exclusive videos, mystery boxes and other rewards, please consider supporting me at; https://www.patreon.com/nostalgianerd ** ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! The Tanashin-originated cassette deck mechanism is used in both the most expensive new cassette decks and junk like this Aldi boombox. It is a low end mechanism, a hangover from budget boomboxes of the past, but for better or worse its also the last mech standing and with a bit of care can be implemented far better than this. For part 1, see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7rce6IQDWs Let's build a circuit that displays an image on a VGA monitor! In part 2, I talk about how VGA uses analog RGB signals to send different color pixels to the monitor. I use an EEPROM to store an image and build a simple digital-to-analog converter to generate the color signals to successfully display an image. This was the first long fluid lick extended that I learned. Finally I had something that I could take for a walk over the guitar neck, and it was probably the first time I experienced exploring the neck in this way. This video is split in to two parts In the first part I talk about how I break the line down into a few simple fragments and then connect them together again to create an extended line. The second part covers the different picking techniques I'll use to play a line like this.
