This was how we snuck/sneaked an electronic game into class in 1982 - and now you can bring one into your business meetings because Casio has reissued their Number Invaders game calculator. UPDATE - In the game if you shoot two numbers in succession that add up to 10 then the invader appears - the invader is worth more points. The last two minutes are my usual outro. If the proportion of new content to existing outro is unacceptable to you - here is an alternative version with a quicker outro. ;-) https://youtu.be/FOrH6RnPqd0 - or you could always just stop playback of this video when you want to stop watching. When PC Building Simulator emerged, my first thought was... How amazing would this be if you could use classic PC Hardware. Imagine building a room of virtual 486 power houses. Tower upon tower of Windows 98 Pentium systems. Rows of 386 desktop units, powering through Wolfenstein 3D like there was no tomorrow. Well, in this Quick Play, I determine exactly how unfeasible that dream is. ** For exclusive videos, mystery boxes and other rewards, please consider supporting me at; https://www.patreon.com/nostalgianerd?ty=h ** ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! I compared the koni yellows on both the softest and firmest settings. While the used shock doesn't have any faults, there are obvious differences especially on both. On the softest rebound dampening setting the new shock rises a lot faster than the old one. On the firmest rebound setting the the new shock is a lot harder to pull up. On both of the settings the new shock is a lot harder to push in. You can support this channel on Patreon! Link below Around the mid-2000’s, the LED traffic light began making its way onto the scene. Recent developments in LED technology meant that energy efficient replacements for the standard incandescent lamp were beginning to appear. Municipalities rejoiced with the energy savings they provided, but in cold climates they weren’t met with quite as warm a welcome. Not producing sufficient heat to melt snow on their lenses, some drivers became confused by ambiguous signals and caused fatal accidents. This video tells the tale of why this newfound “problem” generated harsh criticism to the new technology, and explains why this reaction is entirely dumb and regressive. I've never been convinced that you need to pick one scale philosophy over another, in fact it's very easy to create a unified approach that incorporates both! This week I break the concept down and show how easy it is to play seamless runs that flip between CAGED and 3 Note Per String patterns.

ZEMBLA investigates the story of Sergei Magnitsky: a Russian lawyer who died in prison after his testimony about the largest Russian tax fraud in history. Police officers and employees of the Russian tax authorities collaborated with a criminal gang to steal 230 million dollars from the Russian tax payers. Magnitsky became a symbol for Russian human rights atrocities. Bill Browder, Magnitsky’s client, began a worldwide campaign to punish the fraudsters and murderers. Several countries imposed sanctions which led to a furious reaction by the Kremlin. But other countries refuse to take a harsh stance towards Putin’s kleptocracy. ZEMBLA shows the Dutch government’s unwillingness to impose Magnitsky- sanctions and The Hague’s appeasement of Putin. - Subscribe to the channel of Zembla: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_BNNVARA Instagram: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_Instagram Twitter: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_twitter

This tape was then played back on the Toshiba TY-AK1 - the first track with the Up-convert option off and the second with it switched on. The recordings were done from the headphone output into a PCM recorder (WAV format). These recordings are unedited. When we think of aphrodisiacs we may think of luxury foods, like oysters and champagne, however as we find out in this video, these are not the most intriguing of historical aphrodisiacs. Join Food Historian Tasha Marks and Dr Jennifer Evans, Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Hertfordshire, as they talk through some of the more everyday foods that have historically been viewed as romantic pick me ups. Pleasant Vices is a four-part series on aphrodisiacs, beer, sugar and chocolate. Each is hosted by Tasha Marks with invited guests and each with accompanying recipe film. To accompany this episode Tasha has invented a historical inspired aphrodisiac you can make at home. You can find it here: https://bit.ly/2KOJQ9r To find out more read Tasha’s top 5 historical aphrodisiacs on the British Museum blog, here: https://bit.ly/2jORsw9 or visit her website AVM Curiosities, here: http://www.avmcuriosities.com/ to see what else she’s been up to. Dr Jennifer Evans, is a Senior Lecturer in History at the University of Hertfordshire, where her research is focused on the body, medicine and gender and covers the period 1550-1750. She is the author of Aphrodisiacs, Fertility and Medicine in Early Modern England a key factual resource for this video.
Inspired by the British Museum collection and a 15th century publication known as The Perfumed Garden of Sensual Delight, Food Historian Tasha Marks has invented an aphrodisiac that you can make at home to delight your loved ones. The recipe requires: 110g pine nuts, 150g ground almonds, a few teaspoons of fig jam and caster sugar to finish (and ambergris sugar if you’re fancy).
