2 Catalogues (or catalogs if you prefer). One from Christmas 1995, the other from Christmas 2017. One from the store formerly known as Index, the other from Argos (they were essentially the same thing). So let's see how Christmas 1995 compares to Christmas 2017 from a purely consumerism point of view. Also with a heavy bias towards watches, televisions, game consoles and the like. Because that's what I do. The Rake Technique is a fingerstyle guitar technique, analogous to sweep picking, where more than one string is played with one finger stroke. Its a great way of playing arpeggios, but I also find that I use it all the time when crossing strings too.

Today I'll be making glowing stuff again, but this time I'm going to try out a more environmentally friendly method. The prep for this video uses wintergreen (methyl salicylate) instead, which I made in an edible chem video. In the previous video, the active chemical I made was TCPO. This required 2,4,6-trichlorophenol as a precursor, which is damaging to the environment. A review of two 360º cameras. The Yi 360 VR and the Ricoh Theta V. It's a lengthy video, so if you are in a hurry jump to 28:12 for the conclusion. Here are the samples 1) Yi 360 https://youtu.be/p4Hb85RVnKY 2) Theta V https://youtu.be/CcWJp-mpbFw I don't think youtube can display these in their full resolution modes in 360º and also I've noticed that the *Theta Video and Audio are now in sync once uploaded to youtube*, so it appears the sync issue is in the IOS app and not the original footage. I haven’t found a way to upload the Yi 360’s '5.7K' mode footage to YouTube and have it stitch together. -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan Patrons usually have early access to videos ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM ***Affiliate Advertising Notice*** I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to AMAZON.COM & AMAZON.CO.UK. When viewing a 360º video you are zooming in on section of the overall image. So while the resolution of the video file might be 3840x1920 you may just be looking at a 640x360 slice from that. The rest of the video is made up of what's going on over your head, down at your feet and behind you. Consumer 360º camera manufacturers are at the limit of what can be handled by current imaging chipsets. Even if you could get a 360º camera that recorded 8K video, this would still look softer than a standard flat 1080p video once you'd zoomed in on a section of it. Professional quality 360º videos use multiple individual cameras (e.g. The GoPro Omni uses 6 Go-Pro cameras) and the video from those six cameras is stitched together using a computer. So this is where it's at with consumer 360º cameras, they are just a bit of fun and won't be capable of producing the same results as a professional rig, but then again the pro equipment doesn't fit in your jeans pocket. Yes, its a full size HDMI Sega Genesis / MegaDrive. It's from China and it's actually pretty good. So I decided what else this Eastern clone could do other than play games. First we'll compare the HDMI picture from this console to the original Mega Drive, then we'll get down and dirty with some peripherals such as the 32X, Mega CD and even the Sega Menacer. We also take a walk down the Megadrive/Genesis RGB route to find the best picture setup for Sega's 16 bit machine of envy. It's pretty impressive what the original Mega Drive can do in terms of image output... although its standard composite output is nothing to be desired. So join me, the HD MegaDrive (or the HD Sega Genesis if you prefer), and a bunch of accessories, for the ultimate in comparisons and showdowns. This film explores the British Museum’s project at Shutb in (Middle) Egypt which studies the broad spectrum of the village’s history – from 2500BC up until the present day and considers the local community the last historical layer and an important stakeholder in rediscovering this ancient past. Sponsored by the Newton Mosharafa fund, the British Council and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. The original lyrics for this Christmas standard were rejected for being too depressing for Judy Garland to sing in the movie Meet Me in St. Louis, so were rewritten. Frank Sinatra found the new lyrics too depressing also, and so had them re-written again to the lyrics we use today. ⦿ FREE DOWNLOAD ⦿ https://adamneelymusic.bandcamp.com/track/have-yourself-a-merry-little-christmas-feat-justina-maria-s-to Vocals - Justina Maria Sóto Violin 1 - Audrey Hayes Violin 2 - Meitar Forkosh Viola - Yumi Oshima Cello - Kristine Kruta Guitar - Shubh Saran Bass Guitar/Synth - Adam Neely SPD-SX/Percussion - Josh Bailey Arranged and Mixed by Adam Neely Filmed and Edited by Liz Maney Live session engineered by Evan Tyor Recorded live at the Williamsburg Library The original lyrics by Hugh Martin capture a very different mood... Have yourself a merry little Christmas It may be your last Next year we may all be living in the past Have yourself a merry little Christmas Pop that champagne cork Next year we may all be living in New York No good times like the olden days Happy golden days of yore Faithful friends who were dear to us Will be near to us no more But at least we all will be together If the Lord allows From now on, we'll have to muddle through somehow So have yourself a merry little Christmas now ⦿ SUPPORT ME ON PATREON ⦿ http://www.patreon.com/adamneely ⦿ FOLLOW ME ON THE INTERNETS ⦿ http://www.facebook.com/adamneely http://www.instagram.com/its_adamneely ⦿ Check out some of my music ⦿ http://sungazermusic.bandcamp.com http://insideoutsidemusic.bandcamp.com http://adamneelymusic.bandcamp.com Peace, Adam

In this video I explore several generalizations of anagrams. Addendum containing more technical explanations: https://youtu.be/8_npHZbe3qM
This lecture is an addendum to my video about Anagraphs, which you should watch first (or only). I do two proofs by reduction: One that the "generalized kerning" problem is undecidable, and one that the "generalized anagraphing" problem is decidable. The first proof uses turing machines, and the second a fragment of linear logic. I try to explain both without assuming any prior knowledge, but there's only so much you can squeeze into 51 minutes. This is a great pattern to build up your 3 note per string chops. This is simple enough for a newcomer to use but also offers a challenge to more advanced players and is a great speed builder too!
WARNING: Tasting chemicals that you make is almost always a bad idea. Even though I've taken several steps to make it as safe as possible, I'm still doing it at my own risk. For this video, I'll be using the urea that I got in my last video, to make Dulcin. Dulcin was the second artificial sweetener to be discovered, but it's now banned due to health issues. My goal for this video is to make it using only easily sourced materials, and then to taste it at the end. You can support this channel on Patreon! Link below RCA's attempt at creating a new color television standard that would be compatible with existing black and white TVs initially faced technical challenges. However, it was an obviously great idea from a backward compatibility standpoint, and the National Television Systems Committee latched onto this idea and helped to propel RCA's idea to the real world. This is that story. This channel is made possible through supporters on Patreon. These supporters have allowed me to go part time from my day job and keep these videos coming more frequently.
