This video has been sponsored and approved by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Sony Pictures asked me to do a Spider-Man DIY project to help promote the Blu-ray and Digital release of Spider-Man Homecoming, so I decided to make my Spider-Man robot launch a surveillance drone!. The drone was modified to look like the Spider-Man surveillance drone in Spider-Man Homecoming, and I also built a 3D printed robotic drone launcher pod that unfolds it. Now Available on Digital. More 1980s television, more commentary! Yes, Welcome to episode 6 of the BBC's Computer Programme showcasing the BBC Micro and other 8 bit micros of the early 1980s. Episode 6 kicks off with Soccer on the Intellivision, but is all about graphics and & animation, demonstrating some pretty impressive computer animation for it's air date of 15th February 1982. To be honest, it's also a little trippy in places, but then this was the fabulous 1980s, and so it's the best kind of trippy. The Star-Spangled Banner is an awkward, unsubtle piece of music, but in the hands of great musicians it can be quite effective. Why is the American national anthem the way it is? The existence of so-called ‘baby farms’ was the most important reason for the Sri Lankan government to suspend intercountry adoption in 1987. At these baby farms, women were impregnated to meet the demand for adoptive children. This is confirmed by Sri Lanka’s Minister of Health, Dr. Rajitha Senaratne, in response to the investigation by ZEMBLA. “There were a lot of baby farms back then,” says the minister. “They collected the babies there and sold them to foreigners for adoption.” This is the first time the Sri Lankan government admits the existence of ‘baby farms’. Stories of ‘baby farms’ had previously been dismissed as rumours. In response to the ZEMBLA findings, Sri Lanka will launch an investigation into the adoption fraud involving thousands of children who were brought from Sri Lanka to the Netherlands during the 1980s. Minister Senaratne also takes the initiative to establish a DNA databank, which children as well as parents can use to search for relatives. Last May, in the broadcast of ‘Adoptiebedrog’ (Adoption Fraud), ZEMBLA revealed that adoption records of children adopted from Sri Lanka to the Netherlands during the 1980s had been falsified on a large scale. Mothers who gave their child up for adoption turn out not to be their biological mothers. Siblings of adoptive children were never mentioned, travel documents were given new dates of birth filled in manually. 'Acting mothers' ZEMBLA also discovered that children had been sold for adoption from a hospital in Matugama. This was based on statements from nurses working at the hospital. ZEMBLA also speaks with a mother, whose baby had allegedly passed away shortly after birth, according to the doctors. She says a family member saw a doctor carrying the infant out of the hospital alive. Subsequently, these babies were given up for adoption by so-called ‘acting mothers’. Acting mothers were women who were paid to pretend to be the mothers of children put up for adoption. ZEMBLA spoke with one of the ‘acting mothers’. She talks about giving a child up for adoption that wasn’t hers. When being asked who put her up to pretending to be an ‘acting mother’ she says: “Someone connected to the hospital. (…) They asked me to act as a mother. Then they gave me 2,000 rupees.” Sri Lanka investigates adoption fraud Sri Lankan minister Senaratne does not take the findings lightly: “The government (of Sri Lanka, ed.) should take this very seriously. We will have to set up a special agency where parents and children can have their DNA tested. This provides an easy method of finding out if it is the real mother or not. I will take the initiative for this.” ZEMBLA also discovered that a small group of lawyers, medical staff and employees then working for the Sri Lankan child protection bureau were responsible for the adoption fraud. In fact, doctors and nurses acted as intermediaries for Western adoption agencies. Minister Senaratne stated he will look into the fraud: “It happened in an illegal manner, it’s very wrong. It violates the human rights of these families. This needs to be looked into.” Dijkhoff's response When asked, State Secretary Dijkhoff, who is responsible for intercountry adoptions in the Netherlands, announced that he “is currently investigating who played which part and who were responsible at the time, how everything was monitored and which organisations and persons were involved in general.” Dijkhoff also writes: “I will also talk to a few organisations involved (UAI, FIOM) and I will approach the Sri Lankan authorities. Based on that, I will consider if the Dutch government should be involved in this matter.” 'Stichting Flash' switched babies ZEMBLA finds a letter from former adoption agency ‘Stichting Flash’ from 2001, addressed to a Flash employee in Sri Lanka. The letter describes how one baby from a pair of twins that were up for adoption had died and a different infant was adopted to the Netherlands using the name of the deceased child. The letter includes: “The baby died. The lawyer (…) asks the adoptive parents not to cry and suggests to use the papers of the deceased child to give another orphan the opportunity to have a better life. The adoptive parents discussed this with the chairman of Flash.” When asked, a former board member of ‘Stichting Flash’ and a former employee told ZEMBLA that they do not recollect ever having seen this letter. - Subscribe to the channel of Zembla: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_BNNVARA Instagram: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_Instagram Twitter: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_twitter

From Zillion to Millions... although a little indirectly. You see Zillion is the name of a Japanese anime series from 1987. This series was sponsored by Sega and related directly to Sega's campaign to try and push sales of their Mark III and Master System consoles. Zillion was also blessed with an exclusive anime game for the Master System, which played a lot like Metroid. What then followed after that was a laser tag Zillion gun and range of toys. The whole plan was in motion for a new Japanese craze based around this series.... the only problem was, it all flopped. So then, how did Sega manage to make millions and indeed, sell millions of consoles off the back of this situation? Well, with a little help from Tectoy, we can find out. ** For exclusive videos, mystery boxes and other rewards, please consider supporting me at; https://www.patreon.com/nostalgianerd?ty=h ** ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! We examine the enigmatic and elusive figure of Columbus, from his likely Jewish background, to his bizarre and hairbrained scheme of sailing to Asia, his brutal and chaotic invasion of the West Indies, his struggle to defend his honors and titles, and finally his apocalyptic vision of his own role in the End Times. We consider how Columbus, a fairly obscure and rejected figure after his death, came to be held up as a symbol of both the best and the worst of the American psyche. 3122 Florence is a Near Earth Object (NEO) being tracked by the Minor Planets Center. It's a 2.5 mile wide chunk of rock , not expected to hit Earth anytime soon, but it's certainly nearby! My dad participates in the MPC's citizen science program, and took a video of 3122 Florence as it flew past Earth a few weeks ago. It passed within about 4.9 million miles, or about 20x the Earth-moon distance. It was moving so fast across the sky you could literally watch it move over the course of a few minutes. The timelapse shown at the end of this video takes place over less than 15 minutes. It's pretty amazing to me that with a shed full of optics, we can perceive pretty tiny chunks of cold rock flying through space millions of miles away! These 6 bits of guitar wisdom have inspired and driven me over the years decades that I've played. 40+ years of playing have taught me a few things, so I thought it would be worth stepping away from all the theory and technique for once and talk about the bigger picture. I hope these ideas inspire and help you as much as they've helped and inspired me.

Today is the first of hopefully many guides explaining, from the ground up, how a type of synthesis, technique, or effect works. Feel free to play along with me for free using Dexed! Dexed (open source DX7 clone VST): https://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/

This video is a bit different and more on the biochemistry side. During my Biochemistry degree, this was one prep that always amazed me. I'll be extracting DNA from strawberries and then giving it a taste to see what it's like. Because I plan to eat it, I only use chemicals that are "food safe". On a side note, it feels like I have been neglecting synthesis, so the next few videos are going to just synth projects only! We explore the history behind the statues being destroyed across America in a wave of iconoclasm -- when and why they were erected, and what they represented. We consider the roots of the Confederacy, which lie in the rapid change in the American view of slavery -- from an embarrassing but necessary evil in the 1780s to a positive good in the 1850s -- that caused a sectional rift between North and South. We examine Confederates' own words to understand why so many Southerners fought for the Confederacy -- and why just as many of them refused. Please support these lectures as a patron at any level in order to hear the next lecture, on "Jim Crow's America" -- https://www.patreon.com/posts/14296905 Support the fight against slavery in America and in our world today.

So, I've got a SNES Classic Mini. I suppose I'd better do a quick video on it. So here it is. In 2 minutes. In this video I'll compare the original SNES to the SNES mini, examine cable length of the SNES Mini pads, play some games, look at some screen modes, and all the rest. Also, I'm giving away a FREE SNES Classic Mini, so if you want one, watch the end of the video, and you may be able to have what you desire (and avoid scalpers). Giveaway/Competition ends when I decide it does (probably about 2 weeks from now). I'll post to anywhere in the world, but bear in mind that this is a UK PAL console. There's nothing I can do about that, so suck it up. I'm giving this away as more of a thank you for everyone who has watched and supported my channel. Hipac is the pre-recorded tape format that history forgot, so it's time to fix that. Previous videos on related formats; 1) The Playtape https://youtu.be/qBSGuR589_Q 2) The Mail Call https://youtu.be/uTIrbvwn2Ho Also - check out my playlist full of unusual and forgotten tech: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLN2yCnHTG_6qxmv_pdBxWxCPsbA1Cl2RI The only other video I’ve found on YouTube featuring a Hipac player - can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/5MXX2oUMjpI FAQs etc. Firstly - a few Japanese speakers have confirmed my pronunciation of Hipac is correct...so that’s good news. Q) What's that clock/youtube counter on the shelf A) This https://youtu.be/aEIhc-2vmIM More info about the machine and the purpose of the case.... It seems unlikely it would be a salesman's sample (as has been suggested by quite a few) as there would be little need for a 12V power connector or even a model number for something the public couldn't buy. Additionally - there's that chap on youtube (linked above) with a different model - you'd only need one design of this case for demo purposes. Now as far as the aerial...you'll see some leaf spring connectors on the left of the inside of the machine at one point when it's open - it seems very likely that these are there to connect to contacts on a special radio cartridge that could be inserted in the machine to provide it with radio reception capabilities. Personal stereos of the 80s re-used this idea, with a number of machines coming with radio cassette that you put in the machine when you wanted to listen to the radio. - Here's an example of a similar idea for the 8-track https://swling.com/blog/2017/06/mystery-solved-remember-the-8-track-fm-radio-converter/ Q) Could the screw that's holding the player in place just have been used for transportation - like when you buy a washing machine, record player etc. A) I think that's unlikely, I've never found a transportation screw in any device that required disassembly of the unit to remove - they are usually on the bottom and can be removed and reinserted easily. Again I think this was screwed in - so that the deck and holder could be sold as one complete unit in order to sell off the unsold Hipac player stocks (probably very cheaply). Q) Where did you get the belts? A) Here http://ebay.to/2k8jEx9 Q) What's the music playing that starts at 06:54 A) Étude Op. 10, No. 3 (Chopin) The Wikipedia Entry was created on 29 Sept 2017 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hipac -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan Patrons usually have early access to videos ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 -------THANKS TO ------- Jerobeam Fenderson for the intro animation: http://oscilloscopemusic.com/ ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM

Here's a video explaining the important differences between 4age oil pump designs. During its life the 4age had three different oil pump gear designs. The first one was the worst with squared gear teeth that resulted in premature pump failure. The first revision of the 4age oil pump introduced rounded gears which were less prone to breakage and lasted longer. The final revision made the oil pump gear thicker which made it even less prone to breaking and enabled it to push about 20% more volume of oil. In this video you can see the three different oil pump gears design up close and see the differences between each of them. Today, the trail gods exact their revenge on us for shuttling. Most of us have shuttled before, but new riders may not even realize that it's sometimes discouraged. I thought a lighthearted approach to the topic would be a good way to start a discussion. Where is it okay? When is it okay? Is it ever okay? Duke it out below! I'm a part owner of Clik. Will Donald Trump go down due to his dubious ties to the former Soviet Union? The president seems to be getting in deeper and deeper. Special prosecutor Robert Mueller, who is investigating if Trump colluded with Russia in order to win the elections, is also digging into Trump's past as a business man. In that past, one of Donald Trump's business partners plays a crucial role, Felix Sater. A convicted felon who has ties with the Russian mafia. Last May, Zembla disclosed how an American real estate company, run by Sater, used Dutch mailbox companies within a network, which has been suspected of laundering money. Allegedly $1.5 million dollars had been diverted. Donald Trump developed hotels and apartment complexes with this suspicious company. In the last few months ZEMBLA received indications of a greater fraud. A billion dollar fraud. And here Sater, Trump's questionable business partner, shows up, as well. The money trail leads to Kazakhstan, to real estate projects in New York and again to the Netherlands. ZEMBLA investigates: How compromising is this case for the current president of America? ▬ Subscribe to the channel of Zembla: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_BNNVARA Instagram: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_Instagram Twitter: http://bit.ly/ZEMBLA_twitter
