I first convert adipic acid (which was made in a previous video) to adipoyl chloride. It is then reacted with hexamethylenediamine to form Nylon 6,6. In the future, I will be making Nylon 6,6 the industrial way, by first going through the nylon salt. Note: I write cyclohexanol in the video, but it is actually cyclohexane that I used. I also wrote in the comments it was cyclohexanol...so double mistake. oops Fluorescein video: https://youtu.be/xXZcRwh28TE Adipic Acid video: https://youtu.be/O0LqwYTSir4 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merch - https://nilered.tv/store ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join the community: Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/nilered Discord - https://discord.com/invite/3BT6UHf NileRed Newsletter - https://nile.red/home#newsletter You can also find me here: Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/NileRed2 Instagram - https://m.instagram.com/nile.red Twitter - https://mobile.twitter.com/NileRed2 Nile talks about lab safety: https://youtu.be/ftACSEJ6DZA

Continuation of the last video. We will now write down the parametric and Cartesian equation of the straight line
Lets work out a simple problem on 3D. Building an equation to a straight line. With this problem we will see the general equation for a straight line in the vector form.
This video starts with the big question, what is inside a magnet that allows it to create a magnetic field. But then we see, its not easy to answer that question. To get more insight we look for clues else where. we find there are ways to create magnetic effects without a magnet. So lets see what those are.
A while ago I started experimenting with Mindfulness. Originally this was to manage the stress and anxiety that had been building up in my life. I then realised that this was something that I could practically use as a musician, both from the point of view of managing the stress of an upcoming gig, but also managing the mental stress that sometimes accompanies the actual performance too. The book that started this journey off for me was this one... "Mindfulness: An Eight-Week Plan for Finding Peace in a Frantic World" http://amzn.to/2p3k9dl I hope this helps you too.

It was a spontaneous decision that like so many, was so freaking worth it. Joshua Tree is an iconic National Park in California and we'd definitely put it at the top of our list of places to go here. It was unreal. Who are we? Yes Theory are four friends from four different countries who constantly seek discomfort in order to grow. The ZX Spectrum is 35 years old on 23rd April 2017, and it also holds a very special place in my heart, so it's time to wish it a happy birthday... It's the machine I grew up with and which led me to creating this very channel. I've covered the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in the past, but frankly I didn't do it justice, so we're revisiting Sir Clive's iconic 8 bit home micro in detail, starting with The Sinclair Years in this two part documentary. This first part explores Clive Sinclair's early years, from his childhood to the formation of Sinclair Radionics in 1961, through the mini amplifier period, pocket calculator, black watch and finally his range of computers, starting with the MK14 and culminating in the ZX Spectrum 128k. We'll look at the people involved behind the Spectrum such as Jim Westwood and Chris Curry and explore other avenues such as the famous punch up between Clive and Chris in a Cambridge pub. So hold on tight, and let's get cracking with Jet Set F**king Willy. This is the story of a mystery hoard of gold found inside a piano. Piano tuner Martin Backhouse came across several tightly wrapped fabric bundles while working on an instrument that had been newly donated to Bishop’s Castle Community College in Shropshire. Carefully opening one he discovered stacks of gold sovereigns – precious coins – dating from the turn of the 20th century. Realising the importance of the find, Martin and the college contacted the local Coroner and Finds Liaison Officer to report it under the Treasure Act, which is administered by staff at the British Museum. They could then begin the hunt for the original owner of the coins… Find out more about the coin hoard here: http://blog.britishmuseum.org/a-hoard-of-note/ With special thanks to Ludlow Museum and Bishop’s Castle Community College.

Here's something I loved and you're going to as well. Dyno your car using nothing but your smartphone. You don't even need GPS, and it actually works. I'll admit I was extremely skeptical when I first heard about it from a guy on a forum. He posted dyno charts that he got using absolutely nothing but a $9 smartphone app. So I decided to spend $9 and download the app which is called Perfexpert by the way. I am in no way sponsored, endorsed etc. by the makers of the app. I paid for it with my own money and I was not paid to make this video. Had the app sucked I would have told you so. The surprise is that the app actually worked. I tested it out on my 100% stock Suzuki sx4 to be sure the data it got was correct. And it was really close to factory specs, showing only that the peak torque and horsepower are developed at slightly higher rpm than stated by the factory, which is definitely not implausible. I couldn't use my MR2 for this because I don't know the power it makes, but now that I know the app works I can't wait to dyno my mr2 with this. Conclusions: I definitely recommend this, it actually works. I included a step by step tutorial on how to set up the app so it gets accurate data. It needs a lot of data and parameters on your car otherwise its completely useless. Check out my blog for more: http://www.driving4answers.com/ #d4a #phonedyno #perfexpert

This video explores the story of the Borgias and their rise to power in Renaissance Italy. Two Borgias became pope during their dynasty—Calixtus III and Alexander VI—and pope Alexander is widely considered one of the most corrupt popes in history. Sex, greed, power, money all define the Borgias regime. But who were the Borgias? And why are the Borgias so evil in their own day, that they are remembered even today as something of a soap opera? This 14-minute video tells the story of Rodrigo, Lucrecia, and the wider Borgia family. Still haven’t subscribed to the channel? ►► https://goo.gl/KNKDPg Further reading on the Borgias: G.J. The recording process is streamed on both Twitch and YouTube channels every Sunday at 10pm NOVT. Join us and help us to make the series better! Those series are made in collaboration with the creator of Catberry: pragmader: https://github.com/pragmader. Thanks to him for the framework and the constant feedback. :) Catberry is really powerful but so underrated and I believe it deserves more attention.

Previous Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x71xUghXSyM LOViT - The Lake Ouachita Vista Trail is fun no matter where you jump into it. You're never up more than a couple hundred feet but there are lots of ups and downs and some real fun descending. Nothing on this trail is technically difficult, but the climbs are frequent and punchy. I had easy access to the trails from the Mountain Harbor Resort, which can provide trail maps, shuttle service, and even tools. If you're a dentist or something speak to Pati and tell her you want the same cabin Seth got. If you're a regular schlub the normal rooms are a great deal. Mountain Harbor Resort: http://mountainharborresort.com/pages/outdoor-adventures/epic-trail-adventures/ Womble - To ride the same route I did, park at the Highway 27 Fishing Village. Call Ron in advance to get shuttled out (Womble is an out and back). My ride was 12 miles and it was not physically demanding in the least, however you must be a confident rider for the bench-cut part. I allocated a lot of time to filming and still got through it real fast, so I recommend going on the ambitious side with the mileage. You won't be disappointed—this trail is super memorable with some scary parts. Catherine Daunt, Project Curator of The American Dream: pop to the present, introduces the exhibition which showcases the British Museum’s extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary American prints for the first time.
