Ever wanted to do some crazy experiments with your computer? Well now you can, thanks to Usborne books and this 1985 release in their computer book range. "This book contains lots of fun programs which enable you to use your computer to do experiments and analyze information", is how the book begins, and it really does. From a temperature sensor you can plug into your C64 to a pulse rate graph. This was where the fun in the 1980s world of micro computers was really at, and something we seem to be lacking, even with the arrival of the Raspberry Pi in recent times. Let's take a look at this publishing gem from Usborne books, in their glory days. You can download the Usborne computer book collection from https://usborne.com/browse-books/features/computer-and-coding-books/ as well as being able to search the new coding books from Usborne, which is pretty cool to see. You will not regret downloading these beauties. You can also buy the latest Usborne coding books at http://amzn.to/2m0P8kz ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Here we have a PC keyboard with huge keys. It's aimed at both children and people who have special requirements, although not usually at the same time. Distributed by various brands including Crayola as the "EZ Type Keyboard", Kiddy Club, "Hipstreet" and Duragadget, it's a curious thing that makes touch typing a complete nightmare (unless you have huge hands). I thought we'd take a look at this gem and see what it can do, using some kids software and a typing tutor.... then possibly play Doom on it and kick back (find out what this keyboard is really good at... GAMING). The best gaming keyboard ever?... Probably not. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Want that stolen car look? Why not make a screwdriver key that's gonna make everyone think you're driving a stolen car? I noticed these things by accident while wasting time online. I wanted to actually order one of these things but soon realized they aren't made anymore and no one sells them. So I thought, "hey this is easy enough why don't I make my own version?" And so I did and here's this little simple DIY video to show you how to make your own screwdriver key and get yourself in trouble. I saw a few other people try and make these online but I think they went for it the hard way and welded keys to screwdrivers which is too much work for something as trivial as this. All I did was buy a screwdriver with a removable shaft, got rid of the shaft, made a copy of my car key, grinded away the key handle part and hammered what was left of the key into the handle, and voila! police pulls you over. This Beta version is quite different from the final product, featuring 4 episodes, with various levels, with only 2 which made it into the final game. This is a quick look at the first levels of each episode to get a general idea of the stage of development Duke Nukem 3D was in during the end of 1994. Come get Some. Some people suggest they may be a better fit on Brady's dedicated physics channel (called Sixty Symbols). In response, the reasons they are on Numberphile are: 1) Tadashi, while certainly a modern polymath, is based in a mathematics department. 2) This sub series (with its animation and extra production work) has been supported by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, a Numberphile collaborator. 3) Some of the previous and future Tadashi videos are more math-oriented than physics - and it just makes sense to put them on one channel rather than dividing the series between two channels on an ad hoc basis. In a multi-disciplinary world, it is challenging to run YouTube channels which people come to associate with just one discipline. That said, feel free to go over and watch hundreds of physics videos on Sixty Symbols --- https://www.youtube.com/sixtysymbols

1. It's normal to look worse in the beginning before you look better 2. The initial drop isn't fat loss. It's water and stomach volume 3. Activity is important but diet control is more important. You can bust your ass in the gym for 2 hours and then erase it away with a fancy coffee and pastry. 4. Only compare yourself to other when it's constructive. It's usually not. 5. Here we look at electric field due to a dipole in detail. We will see that the electric field due to a dipole looks very different than any other charge configuration. So let's look at this in detail shall we?
Here I will tell you, why dipoles are a big deal in electrostatics. Dipole charge configuration produces a radically different field configuration, than any other kind.
We look at a special result in electric field, when you go far away from charge configurations. Extremely sorry for the BG sound. Neighbors were building a nuclear bomb or something!

Reifenflicken: http://amzn.to/2ln0gg0 Our Trip: https://youtu.be/BKSQjXmB0q8?list=PL5S7V5NhM8JQ17-FsABwJKWJmFFWU1uL7 Even if you ride a mountain bike with tubeless tires, you’re not immune to sidewall tears. To get home, you would need an inner tube, and something to brace the tear. In all cases, significant damage is a death sentence for your tire. Anything you do to fix it is a hack designed to get you home. A few weeks ago, Alex and I used a rubber patch and some Gorilla tape to fix the sidewall on his road bike. We lucked out, and got to a bike shop 35 miles away in Key Largo. We had our jankey sidewall repair to thank for that. Today, I’m replacing the front tire on my BMX and destroying my old one in the name of science. We’ll test these 5 hacks from 30 all the way to 120 PSI. First we have duct tape, labeled T for tape. Alex and I did have this with us during our trip. Next we have a standard rubber bike patch, labeled P. This is for patching inner tubes and is held on with rubber cement. Alex and I also had this during our trip. Next, a glueless patch. To me this would be a last resort since it’s not very rigid. It’s labeled G for glueless. Then we have a dollar bill. This is a well known hack, which I’ll demonstrate in this video. Then finally, we have a Park Emergency Tire Boot which is made for sidewall repairs. I labeled it B for boot, but changed it to R for Reifenflicken! It seems that our German friends have a dedicated word just for tire patches. The Briggs-Rauscher oscillating reaction is one of the very few oscillating reactions that we know of. Throughout the reaction, the concentration of iodide (I-) goes up and down, and this causes a swap between 2 processes. The the concentration is high, the process that consumes iodide is favored. When it is low, the process that produces it is favored. This causes a constant fluctuation of iodide. As the iodide increases, it forms I2 which is yellow, then the I2 eventually combines with I- to form I3. This complexes with starch and forms a blue-black complex. The iodide producing process is then shutdown and the process that consumes it takes over. The iodide concentration drops, the I3-starch complex falls apart and the color dissipates. The I2 is sequestered by malonic acid and the solution reverts to colorless. The [i-] continues to fall until the other process then takes over. Iodide is produced again and the cycle repeats itself. NOTE: The yellow color of solution A was solved almost instantly by Bill Smathers. The iodate was likely contaminated with iodide. In acid, the lead to the production of I2, which gave the solution a yellow color. Upon addition of B, the I2 was sequestered by malonic acid! GBR Thrifts is back for 2017. Episode number 5 consists of a charity shop bonanza in and around the fine city of Norwich. Along with some usual haunts, I take an extended trip out of the city and visit some more obscure shops in the hope of finding some gems. Whether this transpires or not will be determined in the footage. Welcome to thrifting, UK style... and by that, I mean, fairly pants bargain hunting. Oxford University professor Richard Bruce Parkinson worked with actress and writer Barbara Ewing to record a dramatic reading of one of the finest works of Egyptian poetry The Tale of Sinuhe. Here, they discuss working together and the impact the poem can still have on a modern audience. The recording is part of a project to write a new reader’s commentary on The Tale of Sinuhe. This research is part of an ongoing joint British Museum and Oxford University project on the Ramesseum Papyri. Remember when you went to your local game/video store and picked games based on how much money you had and the rear box art? Well I do, so for the princely sum of £5.99, I thought I'd buy myself a brand new C64 title from Psytronik Software based on it's screen shots and see what it's like. The game I bought was called "Darkness" and is a Sabre Wulf style, top down explorer. You're in a jungle, trying to rescue your bird called Megan. You had to find keys, destroy the indigenous life and then scarper. Let's get involved! Put Drama through college: https://teespring.com/trailpup Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sethsbikehacks If you want to get cheap views on your mountain biking videos, just follow this simple formula: Mountain bike + Dog = Views Actually anything + Dog = Views Type in “trail dog” and you’ll see tons of pups chasing their owners through mountain bike trails. A trail dog will get you that Youtube cheese, and I want in. It seems like you need a pretty sporting dog though, and Drama is anything but sporting. He’s addicted to air conditioning, doesn’t cooperate, and isn’t very courageous. He can’t even fetch, let alone follow me through the trails without a leash. Can Drama be a trail dog? There’s only way to find out. We’re pretty sure that todays domestic dogs evolved from a common ancestor who resembled the gray wolf. It’s said that even handbag dwelling chihuahuas have wolf blood pumping through their veins. Their ancestors chased things in order to eat, and that same instinct is alive and well today. In most dogs at least. Drama does seem to follow the person who feeds him, but that’s the only reason he’d trot behind me at 2 miles per hour. If he were driven by wolf instincts, he’d care more about actually catching me. He’ll follow for 15 or 20 seconds, and then get sidetracked to eat grass or pee on something. Drama just can’t stay on task and he has no sense of urgency. He’s accustomed to getting everything he wants without working for it, and that might explain his laziness. Maybe he’s just being a bulldog. It’s easy to be fooled into thinking that Drama is just a slow pup, but that’s definitely not true. After drying off from a bath he loses his shit. The same thing happens if you try to sweep or mop something. It seems like Drama just doesn’t care about chasing bicycles, but I think I know a way to persuade him. Okay, so I think we got a couple of decent runs out of Drama this way, but I can’t always ride the trails with a broom. Plus it doesn’t hold his interest any longer than the bike. After 0.1 of a mile he’s done, ready to drink water and lay around. French Bulldogs do have a tendency to overheat, so the tropical climate may have something to do with his reluctance to go full pup. Would he feel like running in cooler weather? Your guess is as good as mine. In another YouTube video, I did find a French Bulldog who seems to enjoy running after mountain bikes. So I think we’ve proven that Drama will follow me through the trails if I wait up for him every ten feet. Should we give him the title of trail dog? I dunno. My dreams of careening through the trails with the sounds of my paws pitter pattering behind me were never realistic in the first place. Drama is more of a shop pup than a trail dog. If I’m working on my bike or editing videos, he’s always right there. He even co-hosts my podcast. What do you guys think? Do any of you have trail yorkies, or trail shitzus? How far from wolf lineage can you get before it’s just not feasible? I want to know. If you like Drama and want to help put him through college, buy a trail pup shirt, now available on teespring. Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time. Trail Frenchie Video https://youtu.be/q_KzsmH-RbU

Popular Question: Didn't you make a 120V 60Hz Machine? Yep - A couple of months *after* I shot the footage used in this video, I set about making a universal 60hz power supply and the results of that can be seen in this video from August last year. https://youtu.be/_dgO0HdPMds However this solution is only really suitable for demonstrating things temporarily in a video - it's not something you'd want to use for long periods due to the size, fan-noise and power inefficiency. -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan Patrons usually have early access to videos ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1
