Welcome to Street Fighter II Turbo for the Amstrad CPC... or at least a close approximation of it, by the name of Fres Fighter II Turbo, coded by Bollaware and released for the Amstrad CPC in 1999. It's a bit sluggish, but the mode 1 visuals are a treat for the senses. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! After fighting traffic, glass, mechanical problems, and bad luck, we had no choice but to crash at a motel in Homestead. Awake and ready to make up for lost time, Alex and I set a goal of 80 miles for day two. That would put us in Marathon, about 50 miles from Key West. Almost immediately, Alex’s tire came back to haunt us. We thought we saw a Walmart, but it ended up just being a grocery store. It turned out that they wouldn’t have had a tire anyway. After searching the inventory of every big box store we could think of, we discovered that nobody carries anything narrower than 32. To get to a real bike shop, one of us would need to backtrack for 10 miles, buy a tire, and ride 10 miles South again to make the repair—that is after waiting for the shop to open. We decided to take our chances with an emergency sidewall repair. For the rest of the transcript, just turn on closed captions. SUBSCRIBE for weekly videos THE GAMEBOY MAKES NO SOUND. it is merely being used as a controller! using LSDJ, and the ARDUINOBOY code (search both of them up and your sorted) its super simple to build. you only need a gameboy, a cartridge for gameboy, look at shops like kitsch bent or retrotowers. search up arduino nano on eBay they are about £2, 6 led's 1 6N138 and a handful of other things. its real easy. you will be pointed in the right direction if you search up arduinoboy. there are even assembled versions!! one thing to note!!! i miss it everytime i stripboard an arduino boy! the gameboy cable connects to the analog pins!!! not digital. its an easy mistake to make. this is only a very small amount of what LSDJ, and arduinoboy do! i don't think its a very popular feature of either of them. but its all i use them for! Here's a quick little tutorial how to video showing you how to replace a broken car stereo speaker. I just bought and connected a new car stereo to my 1987 Toyota MR2 but to my disappointment the sound that came from the speakers was horrible. The speakers were almost 30 years old and beyond repair, so there was no other solution but to replace them. This is a very easy and simple job that you can DIY easily and save yourself time and money. Removing and disconnecting your old car stereo speaker is super easy, and reconnecting a new one is the reverse of removal. I even had a broken electrical connection that I show you how to repair easily with some crimp connectors. It symbolizes the Southernmost point in the continental US, but clearly the house behind it is further South. To me, the real reason to visit mile marker 0 is to drive through the Florida Keys. From downtown Miami, it’s an epic 3 hour drive, starting with skyscrapers and ending in 7 mile long bridges through the Caribbean—or the Gulf of Mexico depending on which car window you’re looking out of. The final stop is Key West, and it’s worth the trip. If you like coconut trees, flip flops, and stiff drinks, you may find no better place. Of course, relaxation was the last thing on my mind when I agreed to pedal to Key West from my house in Fort Lauderdale. I’m pretty sure it was Alex’s crazy idea, and who could blame him? The poor guy has been off his mountain bike since November, when he dislocated his shoulder. A road bike adventure through the flattest state in the nation would be a piece of cake. So we threw caution to the wind, did absolutely no research, and retrofitted our road bikes with racks and luggage. Alex had a lot of camping experience, and I went through a road biking phase a few years back. I was no stranger to high mileage. 200 miles in 3 days would be easy. So the goal for day one would be a campsite 90 miles away in Key Largo. As we set out from my house in high spirits, we had no idea how humbling of an experience this ride would be. Alex and I fell short of Key Largo by over 40 miles on day one. Allow me to summarize why that was the case. Reason 1: Roady miles and bike packing miles are not the same. When you ride for training of for the sake of riding you choose your favorite route. We were forced to ride through Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Hallandale, all of Miami, and Homestead, encountering ridiculous amounts of stop lights, traffic, glass, and general treachery. City miles are slow and frustrating. We were moving at a snails pace, which leads into… Reason number 2: The worst route ever. I used Google maps to plan a route and tapped the little bicycle icon. This is great for finding the closest bikeway, but terrible for finding directions. Rather than have you ride for a mile on a less than ideal road, Google would rather you get on a ferry. Sometimes it would want us to take a bikeway for a few miles, make a u turn, and backtrack a mile to get on another bikeway—this instead of just hopping over one median. For the record I now know the best route, but I can’t go back in time to Wednesday afternoon, which brings us to… Reason number 3: A late start. We did some preparation in the morning and moseyed on down to the coffee shop. We didn’t start pedaling until around 11, since we wanted to wait until rush hour was over. I don’t know why it didn’t click that we’d be in South Miami during the second rush hour. Since my calculations were based on roady miles, I figured we’d be in the keys by then, but I didn’t account for all the stops, craploads of extra weight, and…. Reason number 4: Mechanical problems. For the record I did one thing right, and that was buy two really good brand new tires, and a reasonably sturdy rack with panniers. Alexander’s bike was f*cked. His tires were really old, and his rack consisted of 9 bungie cords and some backpacks. The only thing on his bike that worked consistently was the horn. Alex kept getting flats on his rear tire, and it took forever to take on and off the bike due to the rear rack. Between stops to fix the rack, multiple flats, and a detour to restock our supplies, we burnt through 2 hours of daylight, which brings me to… Reason number 5: Bad luck, which I admit is sort of a cop out for bad planning. Google Maps led us to a really jagged and rough fire road, which was out of the question considering Alex’s tire issues. So we tried to find a way around it and found ourselves trapped. I was going to do it, but Alex was actually the voice of reason. He might have saved both of our lives. During the day, maybe. At night, it was sketchy. So, 40 miles from Key Largo we decided to throw in the towel. Luckily, motels in Homestead are about the same price as tent sites in the keys. We were pretty bummed out, and admittedly doubtful that we would get to Key West on time. Both of us were on a time constraint, and the next day was looking grimmer and grimmer by the minute. After 50 miles of arduous urban pedaling, we needed something to boost our spirits. Full transcript in closed captions

This is the final part of the series, where the p-aminophenol is converted to the acetaminophen. Using acetic anhydride, the p-aminophenol is going to be acetylated. The reaction is carried out in water at room temperature. Acetic anhydride does react with water, but it happens slowly. By including an excess of acetic anhydride, we can assure that the acetylation goes to completion. Q) Do you have a cold A) No I have a permanent medical condition Q) You said 33rpm, don't you mean 33 1/3 rpm A) Sigh Q) I don't want to buy one of those...they are stupid A) Don't worry, it's very unlikely you will stumble across one of these old discs by accident or be forced to purchase one though some sort of government enforced programme. Q) This looks like a gimmick A) It was a gimmick, the guy selling them said it was a gimmick in the newspaper clipping shown..nothing wrong with that. Just like picture discs, coloured vinyl, 3D covers, or performers wearing tartan, or with mop-top haircuts or pointy gold bras. . gimmicks sell music, it's how popular music works. Q) Hey have you heard of a turntable that reads records with a laser...are you ever going to review one? A) Yes, for some reason this gets mentioned on every vinyl video and I always answer with this.... The ELC Laser Turntable is still on sale ..its costs over 8000 dollars for the cheaper model, plus postage, plus import duty from Japan. Apparently it can only work with black vinyl, no coloured discs or picture discs, and any kind of dust causes a drop out. It's not for me...I'll never review one. It seems to be a bit of a joke in the vinyl turntable industry and no one has anything good to say about it. Apparently reliability is very poor. Q) Did you know you can adjust the point at which an automatic turntable returns. A) Yes..this is not my first rodeo...but I have no intention of adjusting my turntable just so it can play one disc that I don't like, at the expense of the hundreds of discs I do. Q) Didn't the group 'Justice' do this on their recent album 'Woman' A) Apparently there were a very limited number of promo copies that included a vinyl-CD... but this was not included in the regular version of this album sold in the stores. I bought it when it came out last year and was a tad disappointed by this. Their album is still good though. ------AFFLIATED LINKS/ADVERTISING NOTICE------- All links are Affiliated where possible. An explanation of fractal dimension. Help fund future projects: https://www.patreon.com/3blue1brown An equally valuable form of support is to simply share some of the videos. Special thanks to these supporters: https://3b1b.co/fractals-thanks And by Affirm: https://www.affirm.com/careers Home page: https://www.3blue1brown.com/ One technical note: It's possible to have fractals with an integer dimension. The example to have in mind is some *very* rough curve, which just so happens to achieve roughness level exactly 2. Slightly rough might be around 1.1-dimension; quite rough could be 1.5; but a very rough curve could get up to 2.0 (or more). A classic example of this is the boundary of the Mandelbrot set. The Sierpinski pyramid also has dimension 2 (try computing it!). The proper definition of a fractal, at least as Mandelbrot wrote it, is a shape whose "Hausdorff dimension" is greater than its "topological dimension." Hausdorff dimension is similar to the box-counting one I showed in this video, in some sense counting using balls instead of boxes, and it coincides with box-counting dimension in many cases. But it's more general, at the cost of being a bit harder to describe. Topological dimension is something that's always an integer, wherein (loosely speaking) curve-ish things are 1-dimensional, surface-ish things are two-dimensional, etc. For example, a Koch Curve has topological dimension 1, and Hausdorff dimension 1.262. A rough surface might have topological dimension 2, but fractal dimension 2.3. And if a curve with topological dimension 1 has a Hausdorff dimension that *happens* to be exactly 2, or 3, or 4, etc., it would be considered a fractal, even though it's fractal dimension is an integer. See Mandelbrot's book "The Fractal Geometry of Nature" for the full details and more examples. ShadowCaster for IBM PC Compatibles was one of my first FPS experiences. Released on floppy during 1993 for DOS, it was based around id software's raycasting engine which was somewhere between Wolfenstein 3D and Doom in it's abilities. In Shadowcaster you play as a chap called Kirt. You possess abilities to shapeshift, and you generally have to defeat evil demons in order to save your kind and possibly the world. Video POI 6:10 -4age engine screaming through tunnels 08:50 - hill climb 1 12:06 - Mostar tour 15:53 - hill climb 2 19:02 - 4age engine MPG 20:46 - bloopers It was finally time to take a road trip in my 1987 Toyota MR2. After troubleshooting a skipped timing belt tooth and finally getting my timing right I felt confident enough to drive somewhere more remote. The destination was the city of Mostar, some 120 km away. I decided to make the most of the trip by recording the 4age sound through some long highway tunnels and calculating the MPG of my slightly upgraded 4age engine. Here's what I have on the engine: Cams: Catcams 8.0 lift, 244 duration Smallport pistons and 10.4 compression Cam pulleys: techno toy tuning Valve springs: HKS Flywheel: oem blacktop Clutch: Aisin All new gaskets: OEM Since I haven''t really touched my brakes or suspension yet I didn't go 100% in terms of driving but I still did some nice hill climbs and had great fun on the road. The car felt pretty great. I did discover my steering rack is a bit loose, especially at higher speeds and I definitely have to do something about the exhaust, which is too loud and somewhat annoying. Engine-wise I was really happy and my 4AGE bigport seems to make great power, especially at higher revs where it really shines. All in all the trip was really enjoyable and fun. I will be tackling the suspension, brakes and steering in the near future and will then be making an even more ambitious and remote road trip. This is the Zhiyun Crane-M: http://amzn.to/2loK0qs So I got the name of the product wrong in the video, it's actually the "Crane-M". Believe it or not, but this makes a difference, as the Crane (without the M) is a different product. The link above is correct now. By now, most of you guys know what a wearable gimbal is. It’s an electronic stabilizer that holds a GoPro, and gives you really smooth footage. They’re great for first person video, but arguably even better for filming other riders. A shot of someone riding in front of you could look almost like it was filmed with a drone. One limitation of wearable gimbals is that they only hold action cameras, which have tiny lenses and tiny sensors. I got to thinking; what if I could stabilize a big old camera and ride around with it? That could be the ultimate follow cam. Introducing the Seth’s Bike Hacks 4000 chest mounted Digital Single Lens Mirrorless Stabilizer Rig. This is a combination of several GoPro brackets, an expensive handheld stabilizer, and one late night in my office. So, basically a whole bunch of stuff being used improperly. Of course, the heart of this operation is the stabilizer, which is the Zhiyun Crane. I convinced Zhiyun to send me one of these in exchange for some screen time, but I’m not sure this is what they had in mind. Almost immediately I noticed that the stabilizer was designed to turn very slowly. It’s also extremely heavy, and very easy to hit on the handlebars when leaning forwards. So, the plan was to follow Zach carefully and try not to destroy all my stuff. At the time of filming we didn’t realize how bad the wind noise would be with the camera’s internal microphone. Looking back it makes sense. Between the delay in steering and the bulkiness of the rig, it was starting to look like this was a bad idea. After a while though I started to get the hang of riding with it. Staying on smoother trails helped too. So although we got a few cool looking shots, I’m sorry to say that the Seth’s Bike Hacks 4000 is not the future of advanced follow cam technology. No, it’s probably better to use this handheld stabilizer the way it was designed—that is handheld. So, a lot of you guys are going to get what you’ve been asking for. Some video clips of me sessioning crap around the trails. First we tried this gap from the lip of this tabletop. I guess the landing area is supposed to be a berm for bypassing the jump. I didn’t throw my weight right on the first try. It would have been nice to have some clouds, but I’m still pretty happy with this shot. Now it’s worth noting that Florida mountain bike trails are often a mix of manmade jumps, wooden features, and remnants of failed public works projects. This can be a negative or a positive depending on your riding style. That explains this patch of concrete, which gave a pretty nice kick. It even looked possible to 360. Not the nicest 360’s ever, but the videography looked awesome. Next we went to this narrow wooden camel hump thing. Yeah I cased it a little bit, but whatever, I’ll take it. As a test run with my new toy I’d say it was highly successful. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video even though we didn’t accomplish what we originally set out to do. This Crane really was a pleasure to use, so I’m leaving a link to it in the description. What do you guys think? Would you like to see more planned shots and sessions on trail features? Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time.

Over many years, Curator Alexandra Fletcher has formed a particularly strong bond with one of the… older people in the British Museum. In fact, she was one of the first to see his face in over 9,500 years. The Jericho Skull is arguably the oldest portrait in the British Museum – a human skull from the ancient city of Jericho which had plaster applied to it to form a type of early facial reconstruction. The Jericho Skull is fascinating to look at, but since being discovered in 1953, archaeologists weren’t able to find out much more about this man – until now. Using CT scanning, 3D printing and facial reconstruction, Alexandra and her team have finally been able to reveal the man behind the plaster.
