This time I look at the 7th arpeggios that can be found around a "G" caged shape. Again I apply the consistent 2-1-2-1 fingering to them. The nature of this inversion means that these fingerings are a little more complex than the other inversions, so I've included some alternate fingerings in the PDF too. Today I received the most ridiculous box I have ever seen in my life. It would have made a refrigerator delivery look like Amazon Prime. I’ve had bicycle deliveries before. I’ve shipped them, received them, and even unboxed fat tire bikes. They’re all shipped in similar sized boxes. If it wasn’t for this tear in the side, I would have expected a horse to jump out of this one. Wait, is this a couch? No… no way. It can’t be! They shipped the bike with the front wheel on? It’s quick release! Why not just take it off and use a normal bike box. Not only that, but this bike is huge! This is the Freway Buffalo. It’s an ebike. I couldn’t say no to a free ebike to play around on, so we’re gonna have some fun with this thing for sure. It’s not a high end ebike like the Specialized Turbo Levo, but it only costs 1700 bucks whereas the Turbo Levo costs as much as a car. Although it’s marketed as a mountain bike, I’d put it in the commuter category. It’s got a big cushy seat, a really long stem, and those antler things on the handlebars. I’m not obligated to give you guys anything but the truth, so let’s put this thing together and take an objective look at it. First, let’s cruise on over to Freway’s website. Wow. First of all, the video is great. The guy is riding in a pack of roadies, and everyone’s drafting him. Then he downshifts and BAM! He’s shredding through Montana, wheelying over rocks and splashing through streams. It’s worth mentioning that they used Maxxis tires in the video, while the bike actually comes with Kenda. Riding the Freway Buffalo on the road, you will also be a visual beast in others’ eyes. I bet. And these girls are freaking out too. Amazing! Have a good cycling trip! “Be careful, have a fun!”. And this guy is like, “yeah I’ll have fun if I feel like it”. Jokes aside, the photos and video are actually really good. They did put some effort into the site, so I’m surprised they didn’t get an English speaking person to do the verbiage. Back to the bike. I’ve gotta be honest, it doesn’t look half bad. The battery fits into the downtube, which is way better than those crazy brackets you see on cheap ebikes. The welds are also smoothed over, like an old Aluminum Cannondale. The drivetrain is a mix of parts, with Shimano Altus in the rear. Altus is a mountain bike groupset, but on the very low end. The wiring could be better, but I think I’m going to make some adjustments to that myself. It’s also worth noting that the motor is in the rear hub just like a basic commuter ebike. This will affect the way it feels, as bottom bracket motors give a more seamless “pedal assist” experience. Of course, this bike seems like it’s made as practical transportation. To me, anything that gets cars off the road is a good thing so lets take it for a ride. I also have a friend with terrible knee problems who hasn’t been on a bike in years. When he visits, we’ll be able to go to the beach or downtown without fighting traffic in a car. I’m looking forward to that. Is it worth $1700? I’ll let you be the judge. I don’t have a lot of experience with commuter ebikes so I don’t know how it compares. I do know that most of the ebike conversions I’ve seen look like science experiments. The Buffalo could pass for a normal bike, and look a little more accessible to a first time ebike user. So, although I’m not planning on riding this, I am planning on using it. So I’ll keep it around for a while and let you guys know what I think long term. Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/freway-buffalo-ebike-you-are-how-you-ride#/ http://ifreway.com/

Göbekli Tepe is a massive monolithic complex in southeastern Turkey. Archaeologists have hypothesized that the site is the oldest temple known to humanity. But what do we know about it? And why do archaeologists think it is a religious site? It's safe to say that Phil and I are the nerdiest mountain bikers on YouTube, so whenever we're in each others' neighborhoods we make it a point to link up. I was in Asheville for the day, and had 6 hours to get to a trail, ride it, and get back to town. Phil was up for it, and met me out there! Phil's Raleigh Tokul Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR2oLA9mSXw Transcript: Welcome to riding with Seth. Today, we’ll venture into the forest for a morning ride in North Carolina. I was up there for some reasons I can’t discuss right now, and had just Saturday morning to do some riding. Just a few hours in one of the best riding destinations on the East Coast. That’s kind of like torture, but I decided to make it count. Some of you might recognize this Raleigh Tokul. Phil and I talked a bit while climbing, but I was wondering how I’d fare against him on the descent. After all, Phil is a professional downhill racer, but on a relatively low end hardtail he was at a disadvantage. All I needed to do was follow his line, right? So Phill smoked me on the downhill, but that wasn’t surprising. As I’ve preached before, the bike does not make the rider. We started climbing a different route, but this time I’d lead us down. Any of you guys use the new GoPro app that makes you log in just to use it. End Rant. In looking at the footage, the trail was obviously to the left. Maybe I have trouble seeing things from a hiker’s perspective, but sitting in the middle of a steep and narrow section of multi use trail seems like a bad idea. Still we weren’t even close to hitting these hikers. The battle continues. So much for taking it easy on my shoulder. Anyway, that’s it for this very short morning ride. I’ll be back up to the Asheville metro area a few more times this winter. Hopefully next time it won’t be so rushed. If you want to know the back story on the bike Phil was riding check the description for links. Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time. Circuitbending a #furby to sync up to a #modularsynth Subscribe for weekly videos! So I'm planning on building quite a large project involving 50 furbies from a concept idea notebook from 2011. it involves each furry being tuned and hooked up to a separate key. but it didn't go smoothly to start with so i started to build something else. which was a furby with 2 simple bends, but the major difference between this and other circuit bent furbies is its able to be synced to a synthesiser. The schematic is at the end of the video! screenshot it, I've omitted any extra components to make it super simple! it uses just 2 5v relays. i used EDR201A500 if you type that in on the electronics shop of your choice, or eBay! you'll find it. also you can find the pinout on the data sheet. the relays basically just turn on the circuit bends on the furby when there is enough voltage to do so! the 2 bends i used are very common and can be found on this site for more info :- http://circuit-bent.net/furby-bending-tutorial.html CHECK OUT MY MUSIC ON SPOTIFY :- http://bit.ly/LMNCSpotify let us know how it goes, you can message me over at the Facebook or instagram. I conclude the Commodore Amiga Documentary with the second part of it's story. This episode is based heavily in the 1990s. We start out with the Amiga 500 and the UK Batman Pack, before moving on through the further developments, staff changes, The Commodore CDTV, Amiga 500+, Amiga 600, Amiga CD32, Amiga 1200, Amiga 4000, Amiga 3000 and the later models and revisions. We go through the peak of Commodore and the Amiga and it's downfall and the various factors which influenced its fall from grace. The British Museum opened its doors to visitors 258 years ago this month, on 15 January 1759. The first national public museum in the world, it was – and still is – open to ‘all studious and curious persons’. To celebrate the anniversary, Director Hartwig Fischer talks about the people who come to the Museum today, and the people who are represented in the collection. At first, the Museum had around 50 visitors a day. Now there are around 15,000 people in the Museum every day, plus half a million who engage online through the website and social media. The conversation has become global – fitting for a museum of the world, for the world. Today we are extracting citric acid from some large large lemons. Citric acid is quite a useful molecule in general, but I don't have any particular uses for it. It is mostly used as a pH buffering agent in chemistry and isn't use in direct synthesis. A buffering solution is a solution that resists pH change. It is useful in synthesis when you need to keep the pH relatively constant during a reaction. In my Cadaverine video, I used citric acid to make a pH buffer solution: https://youtu.be/C5hxFAwKIzs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merch - https://nilered.tv/store ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join the community: Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/nilered Discord - https://discord.com/invite/3BT6UHf NileRed Newsletter - https://nile.red/home#newsletter You can also find me here: Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/NileRed2 Instagram - https://m.instagram.com/nile.red Twitter - https://mobile.twitter.com/NileRed2 Nile talks about lab safety: https://youtu.be/ftACSEJ6DZA

I had a great question about Improvising, he asked "What order should I learn things?" I thought I tackle it from a big picture point of view... "How you should develop over the weeks and months" rather than a specific lesson or idea. The stages I cover are... 1. Basic Pentatonic/ Blues scale, playing over chords. 2. Extending into other positions. 3. Adding the extra scale tones from the major scale. 4. Introducing chord tones and how they fit over these scales. 5. Adding the modes and how they fit over the pentatonic scale. A quick look at the Grundig Ocean Boy 210 radio from 1970. Also known as the Transistor 3005 in some countries. A previous Design Classic video can be found here: https://youtu.be/ypex04AvuWA My radio came from eBay: https://goo.gl/qEtUqb This site is a good resource for old Grundig Radios (and they sell some too) http://www.grundigradio.de FAQs The song on the radio at 05:50 is 'Jailbird' by Shells Lots of people are suggesting that you can use a FM transmitter when/if FM is switched off. I don't really see this...a FM transmittter can transmit one signal at one frequency. So if someone were to get a DAB radio and attach it to a transmitter...the FM radio would only receive the single station being broadcast by the DAB radio and if they wanted to change the station they would have to do it on the DAB radio. Seems like a lot of fuss to go to...might as well just listen on the DAB radio in the first place. But then again responding to comments gets some people angry...so it's probably best if I just butt out. Apologies but the word "received" is spelt incorrectly at one point. I am holding an inquest into who is responsible and no stone will go unturned in apprehending the suspect to bring him or her to justice. -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan Patrons usually have early access to videos ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 ------AFFLIATED LINKS/ADVERTISING NOTICE------- All links are Affiliated where possible.
