UPDATE: In this video, I am showing you guys what the "proper" procedure would be, but it is by no means the fastest. If you want the fastest way, follow chemplayers method. I just prefer to not evaporate solvents, but that takes extra time. Hey guys, today we are starting on the journey from Aspirin to Tylenol. I would use a gravity filtration though in both cases though. It's just as fast and doesn't have as many problems as a vacuum one. Still do a recrystallization though. Without a recryst/hot filtration, the ASA is still pretty dirty. So all I had was just some random ranting that I had done using my phone cam. So decided to put it all together today, because I was bored of editing physics videos lol Hope you enjoy the film. And if you like it share with your friends Take care :D I will add the music details later
What we’re going to do today is only going to take a couple of minutes. What I have here is a wheel off my brand new Orange P7 RS. The vast majority of people with this bike will be running it tubeless, but of course it ships with tubes. During storage and shipping, sealant has the opportunity to clump, so all manufacturers to my knowledge ship tubeless ready bikes this way. The question is, how much weight do you save by pulling those tubes out and pouring in some sealant? Well today, we’re going to weigh this wheel, pull out the tubes, seal it up, and weigh it again. Very simple. Set up stock with an inner tube, we’re coming in at 2.655 Kilograms. Let’s weigh it again just in case. Time to rip these tubes out, throw in some valve stems, and seal her up. Now of course, I could make this calculation by weighing the tube and the sealant, but this is more fun, and probably more realistic. Weight reduction is only a secondary benefit of tubeless. The reason I do it is because I tend to run low tire pressure and get a lot of pinch flats. Tubeless has virtually eliminated that problem. Another harder to measure benefit of tubeless is efficiency and ride quality. Friction between the tube and the tire creates heat, which is energy lost. Without that extra rubber there, it just feels better. The benefits of going tubeless are so numerous that some riders are religiously opposed to inner tubes, but I’m not part of that crowd. If you ride casually, or run higher pressure, I think inner tubes are less of a hassle. You can leave your bike in the shed for months at a time and pump it right back up. If your tire is less than perfect, it’ll still hold air. You can take it on and off with tire levers without worrying about messing up the bead. Finally, for a beginner just learning how to work on a bike it’s easier to set up. So to each his own. All my mountain bikes are tubeless ready. But today we’re just here to talk about the weight savings, so let’s weigh this sucker again and check our results. 2.51 Kilograms. So that’s a weight reduction of 145 grams per wheel. That’s 290 grams or about 10 ounces or a little over half a pound. If you are one to count grams, then this would be no brainer. What do you guys think? Is this more than you thought? Less? If it weren’t for flat protection do you think going tubeless would be worth it purely on the weight savings? I want to know what you think. Thanks for riding with me today and I’ll see you next time.
Some say Jan Hus predicted the rise of another reformation within 100 years of his execution. Jan Hus allegedly said "In 100 years, God will raise up a man whose calls for reform cannot be suppressed." But did Jan Hus predict Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation? Actual, real, DOOM running on Commodore 64 hardware (with a few expansions to processor and memory, mind). But otherwise this is an impressive feat on the early 1980s Commodore hardware. All is present, all is correct. To run it yourself, follow the instructions below; SCPU WinVICE - http://supercpu.cbm8bit.com/download/WinVICE-2.4-x86+(scpu64).7z C64 Doom - http://scpu.amidog.se/doku.php?id=scpu:doom Unpack and put them in the same folder. Then create a shortcut to xscpu64.exe and modify it to read as below but with the relevant path. C:\WinVICE\xscpu64.exe -reu -reusize 16384 +reuimagerw -reuimage doom.reu -autostartprgmode 1 -autostart io.prg I suggest you put the emulator in Warp mode (ALT-W) for the best experience, and if you press P it switches between 4 colour and 16 colour FLI modes. It does use the joystick for movement (port 2), and i have to set it to capture mouse events so I can open doors (mouse 1), this is only because I haven't sussed the keys yet. For the record, when I don't like stuff I send it back to the manufacturer and you never hear about it. Therefore, if you see me showing you a product, it's because I genuinely liked it. Finally, thanks to all of you guys for getting me to 100k subscribers! That silver play button will be hanging up in my office on the left side of my computer, with a big empty space on the right. That's to leave space for the gold play button we'll get at 1 million!
After making engine assembly, transmission rebuild, wire harness restoration and many more overhaul videos, I think its finally time I make a video of me actually driving my 1987 Toyota MR2 mk1 AW11. I actually managed to get it started a few days ago and it was unreal. I managed to take out an engine out of a car, get it machined, assemble it myself and put it back in. And the car actually drives. Unreal. There was some troubleshooting in the begging because I had stabbed the distributor a tooth off, but after that was resolved the car started just fine. I took it for a few short drives, changed the oil twice already, but this video is me driving the car on a nice open road for the first time, and its the longest drive I had with so far definitely. My now stock-ish 4age bigport engine seems really healthy, but I think I can squeeze a few more hp and improve the power curve by playing with the adjustable cam pulleys and maybe even ignition timing some more. What I will definitely be changing in the very near future is the obnoxiously loud exhaust that got on my nerves after 20 minutes of driving. It doesn't sound bad but its far too loud to be enjoyable. Other than that my MR2 feels really great. Its not overheating, it goes, it stops, it accelerates which is beyond amazing for me. 2.5 years ago I didn't even know how to change the oil and now I'm driving a car I built myself. I am probably repeating myself here but I just have to. So overall the car feels really nice. Its a proper driving experience without any electronic aids. My MR2 is fully analog and that makes it beautiful. Mid-engined, no power steering, no ABS, no ESP. The car and driver connection can really be felt. So, after all the hard work and rebuilding its time to start another chapter in my journey, one where I actually get to drive My MR2 and rev that 4AGE engine instead of just looking at it in the garage all the time. All gear in this video: https://www.sethsbikehacks.com/mountain-biking-explained/ Next Video: https://youtu.be/X6J5WwllX1k?list=PL5S7V5NhM8JQoi8vhELX-9aYHmRtmCveT Any outdoor activity can be really fulfilling, but my activity of choice is mountain biking. A mountain bike can quickly cover any terrain, and take you amazing places inaccessible by many other vehicles. Plus, mountain biking is a great way to get in shape, push yourself, and even make lifelong friends. The vast majority of mountain bikers went on their first ride with a friend, parent, or coworker who was already experienced. When your experienced friend takes you out on the trails, they can fix your mechanical problems, warn you about obstacles ahead, and even tell you when to shift gears. The thing is, not everyone has that guidance. Meet Lisa. She’s not an actress and she’s never been mountain biking before, but she wants to learn. Follow along with Lisa as she learns how to ride, how to find trails, and how to perform basic maintenance on her bike. She’ll go through everything you will, and probably have a lot of the same questions. She’s going to have a lot of fun, and probably make a lot of friends, but she sure as hell won’t be doing it on this bike. This is a hybrid, or comfort bike. Surprisingly, it’s sometimes mistaken for a mountain bike. The shocks, the gears, and the fat tires make it look like it’s designed for riding off road, but this sticker states otherwise. So we’ll need to max out Lisa’s credit card and get her set up for the trails. First she’ll need a bike, a helmet, and some gloves. She’ll also need a floor pump with a gauge, as tire pressure is really important in mountain biking. She’ll also need a hydration backpack, which holds lots of water, and other stuff like her cell phone, supplies, and car keys. Speaking of car keys, Lisa will need a bike rack, unless she’s okay with putting a filthy muddy bike in her back seat. I’d also recommend a multitool. Altogether, this will cost around $1000, but that’s just a guide. You may already have some of this stuff, and often times you can find it used. Over the course of a year, many people spend over $1000 on coffee, and definitely more than that on ordering in lunch. Do the math. Chances are you could make your own coffee, pack your lunch, or scale back on something else to make room for mountain biking. With the right beginner gear, Lisa has the headroom she needs to grow and improve without being limited. She has a bike that can be easily maintained, repaired, and upgraded, and gear that will last her many many rides. In the upcoming videos we’ll go over all this stuff, where to get it, and how to use it. Now that she’s all set up I’m thinking we should shock Lisa’s system with a ride on Porcupine Rim, a 3000 foot descent along the edge of a mountain, followed by a bone jarring ride across miles of Jeep road. Then, a blistering descent along a big friggin cliff…or we could start on some dirt paths and teach Lisa the basics first. That’s the safest way to start mountain biking; getting used to your bike before you try anything crazy. Lisa is riding through a beginner trail, which is usually just a dirt path with some loose terrain. This isn’t much different from riding in the street, but it does get you used to riding in narrow spaces with tight turns. To find mountain bike trails there are apps, and websites that show listings by area. This listing on singletracks.com shows the difficulty level of these trails. Green dots are for beginners. Before we start turning Lisa into a mountain biker she’ll need to know some terminology. We’ll do a little of this in every video, but first we’ll start with the most basic terms you’ll hear the most. This is a hardtail, or a mountain bike with front suspension. Some bikes also have suspension in the rear. These are called “Full suspension mountain bikes”. Full suspension, hardtail. Most beginners get hardtails because they’re less costly and easier to maintain. This is singletrack, or a narrow trail designed for one rider at a time. Most mountain bike trails are singletrack, so you’ll hear this term a lot. It usually just means a trail. This is a trailhead, or the entrance to a trail system. This is where you’ll park your car, get set up, and meet with your riding buddies. So before Lisa goes to the trailhead to ride some singletrack on her hardtail, she’ll need to learn how to use all this gear, install a bike rack, and master a few techniques that make riding singletrack different from riding pavement. If you’re an experienced mountain biker who follows this channel, now’s the time to get your friends started by turning them on to this series. We’ll still be doing the normal stuff in between, but every couple of weeks I’ll be releasing another episode with lessons for beginners. Try to be helpful and answer questions in the comment section.

The Sega Master System was the console Sega launched to pit against Nintendo's NES system in Japan, America, Europe, Australia and other regions. It wasn't the original console which went up against the Nintendo Famicom; that honour went to the SG 1000, however it's weak abilities meant Sega needed something bigger, something better. The Master System was meant to be that console, and although technically superior in many ways, it was late to the market in most regions. However, Europe, Brazil and Australia were regions were the console succeeded, and succeeded well. This video explores the early years of Sega Enterprises, through the 70s, 80s, 90s and even present day where the Master System still enjoys a continued audience courtesy of TecToy. Sit back and join me for one of my favourite game consoles of all time. Used in this video are Sega adverts, Master System games through the ages, Sega promotional material, NES vs Sega demonstrations, Master System vs Mega Drive demonstrations and a whole lot in-between. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Dizzy The Ultimate Cartoon Adventure is the first of the Oliver Twins Dizzy series, released in 1987 for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. It's maybe the closest the 8 bit machine would come to it's own mascot, feeling thoroughly at home on Sir Clive's hardware. It's not an easy game to navigate, as you collect artifacts to make a potion, but it genuinely feels like an adventure. So let's dive in, for a minute or two. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! So, as usual, I made a bunch of mistakes and decided to re-upload... Today we are working with a vanadium compound for the first time! The reaction that produces the ammonium metavanadate is called a metathesis reaction (I forgot to say it in the video). Ill be using the ammonium metavanadate to make adipic acid, the redox rainbow, and the mandelin reagent. These trails aren’t wet, or muddy, but the leaves are just damp enough to wreak havoc on the rocky sections. At first glance you’d think we were riding a typical North Jersey mountain bike trail, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Ride here long enough, and you’ll start to see remnants of what this place once was. Here’s a tram track, and here’s—an otter slide. Welcome to Jungle Habitat, the 800 acre site of a safari theme park last operational in the mid 1970’s. A mountain bike trail, in an abandoned safari theme park. The park was originally successful, containing a drive through safari with everything from lions to elephants. After a few years, the novelty wore off, and the township rejected a plan to expand the already disruptive park. Warner Brothers decided it was best to just shut it down and find new homes for all the animals. There it sat for years. Eventually, they sold the land to the state of New Jersey. Even before JORBA orchestrated their massive cleanup of the park, mother nature had already begun reclaiming what was rightfully hers. Among the overgrowth, there are still random patches of pavement, and lots of perimeter fences with big flat sections near the top. If you’ve ridden other trails in North Jersey you’ll see the usual. You know—insane uphill rock gardens that only the locals can clean. Damp leaves aside, these are tough trails. Last time I rode with these guys we found a huge skinny line across a fallen tree. So, it wouldn’t be a Jersey trip without hucking this slippery boulder. If you think that looked sloppy, believe me when I say it felt worse. As we continued our ride I couldn’t help but feel like the jungle was trying to eat us alive. It’s no surprise that this site is host to countless urban legends. While there were well documented cases of animals attacks and even escapes, there’s little evidence to prove the existence of a baboon colony in the nearby foothills. Still, the place is full of wild animals, just bears and a coyotes now instead of lions and flamingos. Video doesn’t even come close to revealing the true topography of Jungle Habitat. When the jungle gets hungry, it eats. As it turns out, its favorite food is derailleurs. With the help of some Jersey trailside engineering, we were back on track. The jungle gave us fair warning, but we kept pushing our luck. Once you finish a loop through these trails, you’ve officially survived the Jungle. While little remains of this once bustling theme park, there are still enough reminders to make it one heck of a unique ride. Whether you’re interested in the history, up for a challenge, or just a rock garden aficionado, Jungle Habitat is well worth the trip. Thanks for riding with me today and I’ll see you next time. I love a good bad idea - and this was one of the best. Sony's 1998's Ruvi was a one-off camcorder experiment. In the video you can find out what made this a unique failure. -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan Sometimes Patrons have early access to videos ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 GPQOC Guessed Potential Questions or Comments (Q=Question, C=Comment) Q) Is the tape a loop? A) No it runs from one reel to the other then you rewind it. Q) Will you do a video about that MicroMV camcorder? A) Yes I plan to, one day Q) Would the video have looked sharper with a brand new video cartridge? A) Worn out tape will usually show drop-outs (small white lines) but this tape didn't have any which indicates the tape was still fine. If this was my camera I doubt I'd have recorded on it 'hundreds of times' - I'd probably have used it a few times over a year or two then upgraded to a different camera. Q) If the camera only has an analog output how did you capture the video? A) With a video capture device hooked up to the composite output from the camera. Q) Did you change the video title? A) Yes, I couldn't decide on a suitable word, but the Quarrymen did all right after a name change, so what's in a name. Q) Why are there no muppets in this video? A) They don't appear in every video - they just come out when something 'amusing' comes to mind for them to express. Today - I have nothing. Writer's block. C) Actually I think you'll find that those pentalobe screws were.... A) .... C) That shirt needed ironing A) Yes it did - I wore a creased shirt to demonstrate the lack of shadow-definition on the Ruvi (this is not true). Q) I really need to see what MiniDV video looked like from that JVC camcorder (for some unfathomable reason) A) Well here's some indoors footage I took with it in 1998 https://youtu.be/7Bz9W9IuLPg Q) What's this New York in 1993 in HD thing you mentioned? A) So you're the person who hasn't seen it... more info here http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2016/4/22/retro-tech-that-time-when-hd-came-on-vhs.html Q)Where do you get the old magazines from? A) https://books.google.com/ C) You said that the footage 'might have looked like it came from 20 years earlier than 1998, that's 1978, video in 1978 wouldn't have looked like that. A) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperbole C) In those magazines there is a camcorder for $23,000 A) Typo Q) Do you have downloadable full size photos of the interior of that video cartridge A) Why yes, yes I do - http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2016/10/25/i-love-a-good-bad-idea-and-the-sony-ruvi-was-one-of-the-best.html C) So I noticed that at the beginning of the video in a totally unscripted bit when you spoke to the camera uninterrupted for three minutes that you referred to 8 years as as few...however I don't think 8 is a few...I think it's more than that. A) Is this really what you wanted to do with your life, trying to pick apart videos on youtube? Have a try at making something...it's a lot harder than sitting watching a phone on the toilet while eating Cheetos and complaining about everything, however it can be a lot more rewarding too. You never know you might become a youtube megastar and experience things from the other side. C) Hey dude I would have just spooled new tape inside that cartridge from a Hi8 cassette A) Cool story bro. C) I saw some white chewing gum stuck to the camera A) It was white-tac used to hold the camera on it's end in one of the size comparison photos - I neglected to remove it and it now has completely ruined the entire internet for everyone...sorry about that.
Many churches affirm the Apostles Creed from the early church or Patristic period. But who wrote the Apostles Creed? Did the 12 apostles of Jesus write the Apostles Creed or someone else?
