Postman Pat for the ZX Spectrum, published by Alternative Software and developed by Enigma Variations Ltd is a favourite game of my youth. Based on the Original Postman Pat series, your job, as Pat (along with your Black & White cat) is the drive the Royal Mail van, which clearly has balance issues, throughout the village and deliver your quota of parcels, all whilst avoiding oil slicks, bicycles and other dangers of village life. If you thought GTA introduced the top down car wrecking perspective, then you're wrong. Let's go Mr. Driver... ahhh, well, close enough, they're both car games. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! This experiment demonstrates a few principles: density, solubility, miscibility, salting out, azeotropes, emulsion. The blue beads are regular Pony Beads. Bomb Jack for the ZX Spectrum is a game I enjoyed for many an hour in my pre-teen years. It's a fairly simple game where you collect bombs, dodge morphing enemies, and progress through various levels featuring the Pyramids of Giza (and Sphinx), the Acropolis in Greece, Castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria, a city skyline and an over head city at night. It's fun, addictive and can be somewhat challenging, what more do you want from an 8 bit game? ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Yanis Varoufakis' speech at Fête de l’Humanité 2016, followed by Q&A. Streamed live on Sep 10, 2016 Interviewé par Mourad Guichard (Journaliste indépendant) [EN] Due to technical problems, the first minutes of Yanis Varoufakis’s speech were not recorded. Here is a transcript of these lost minutes: Last year, I came to La Fete with a message from Greece. The Athens Spring had just been crushed by the Troika because Europe’s Deep Establishment was planning to bring the Troika to Paris. Since then, the Troika has come to Paris. Labour laws have been passed by Presidential decree. Civil liberties have been diminished. And the magnificent people of Paris responded with Nuit Debout. Yes, it is true, Greece was the laboratory of misanthropy. And France must be the battleground where misanthropy is defeated. Why are we here? We are here because we are humanists in an age of misanthropy. We are here because the French are asphyxiating. The Greeks are asphyxiating. The Austrians, the Germans, the Spanish, the Portuguese are asphyxiating. All of Europe is asphyxiating. We are here because our people are asphyxiating in a Europe that is disintegrating. And our people will be asphyxiating as long as Europe is disintegrating. And Europe will be disintegrating as long as our people are asphyxiating. We are here to stop the asphyxiation of our people, to stop the disintegration of Europe. A disintegration that feeds the beast of our era’s Great Deflation which, as in the 1930s, breeds xenophobia, racism, nationalism. We are here to minimize the human cost from the idiotic handling of this Europe’s inevitable crisis. It is only this that brings us here: an Urge. A Duty: to minimize the cost of human suffering. Our task is simple: our duty is to do whatever it takes for people’s faces to lose their worry lines. What is NTSC? What is PAL? Why in Sonic fast in America? Why is he slow in Europe? Perhaps the question should be more like Why is 60hz faster than 50hz?... and why is there a difference? Because that's exactly what this video is about. Back in the days of analogue television (you remember that, right?), signals were transmitted using 2 main standards, PAL and NTSC (There's also SECAM for France and Russia, which is similar to PAL), and to display on these standards, your equipment needed to be able to output the right signal type. *OPEN FOR MORE* This is partly why a Sega Genesis won't work properly in the UK without modifications and vice versa. This video looks at the whole caboodle, what NTSC is, what PAL is, why we have 60hz and 50hz, where it came from, who came up with those figures and exactly what all this means when it comes to Sonic the Hedgehog. By the way, PAL stands for Phase Altering Line. NTSC stands for National Television Standards Committee; the people who came up with the name. I always prefer it when acronyms refer to the technology rather than the people who decided on the specification. Please note. The Megadrive 68000 CPU clock speed is actually 7.600489 MHz, hence why that calculation doesn't quite pan out properly. Apparently rounding wasn't a strong point of my source reference. Likewise, my pro-active checking wasn't a strong point of that part of the video. Video topics; NTSC Explained PAL Explained 50hz vs 60hz NTSC vs PAL Why is Sonic fast in America What is Sonic slow in Europe Megadrive Region modifications NTSC Region mod PAL Region mod Other games slower on PAL PAL optimised games ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Life hacks videos are almost never useful sources of information, but they’re great entertainment. Today, we’ll be looking at 10 life hacks just for mountain bikers. Let’s begin. If you use action cameras the way I do, the cases get filthy inside and out. Just put them in the dishwasher with detergent and everything. They’ll come out looking good as new. A lot of people work on their bikes upside down like this, but sometimes it’s hard to get to shifters and things on the handlebars. Use two pieces of wood, or bricks to give yourself another few inches of clearance. It’s no work stand, but it gets the job done. It's amazing to me how many people don't know how to stand their bike up on a curb or log. Just kick the pedal backwards and the drivetrain will hold it in place. Put the pedal forwards and the bike won’t stay up. Do you know how to true wheels, but don’t have a truing stand? Use zip ties as pins. Now you can watch any tutorial on truing and get your wheel straight as an arrow. I have an old video on this in the description. Have any of these little patch kit boxes? Well they work great as first aid kits. I was able to fit bandages, ointment, butterfly closures and even tape in one of these. I’m sure it could be mounted under a seat, and of course you could throw it in your backpack. I know this sounds hard to believe, but I’ve seen several people get their stolen bikes back. Every time, they needed to prove to law enforcement that they were the rightful owner. If you can correctly predict that this piece of paper will be in the seat post or handlebars, it’s hard to dispute that you’re the true owner. Have a tubeless tire that just won't seal up? Adding particulate to your sealant makes it plug bigger holes. We used glitter for this in another video. While this does clearly work, it also gets messy and makes your sealant clump more. Hydration packs slosh around when there’s air inside the bladder creating empty space. You can bleed the air out by turning the pack upside down and taking a drink. This is super easy to do and works like a charm. We all get muddy and sweaty when mountain biking, so you can make a seat cover out of an old towel. Just fold it over at the top, and fasten the ends together with thread, staples, or whatever you want. The pocket at the top keeps the towel in place over your headrest, and it can still be used like a normal towel. If you use zip ties on your bike this little piece here can be dangerous, so most people use end nippers or even a nail clipper to get them really short. I use a knife to get it totally flush with the fastener. So that's it, 10 hacks for mountain bikers. If you enjoyed this video, share it with a mountain biker you know, and if not, click the like button anyway and then spew your hate in the comments. Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time. How to true wheels with a zip tie https://youtu.be/fQ4g1QNg4dU?list=PL5S7V5NhM8JSlXF1Tik7gZoIX4S7Zpll6
First of all here is the Pre-test, let me know what you already know about the forces. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RB6KV8H Forces and motion are understood via a set of three laws called the Newton's laws of motion. This particular topic is introduced in high school usually in 9th or 10th grade. It seems to be fairly "simple" to understand. But make no mistakes. From my 5+ experience of teaching, what I have noticed is that, not only students, but even teachers fail to truly understand the connection between Forces and motion. Why ? Well, The answer is given by this famous Youtuber who runs his channel by the name Veritasium. You should check it out https://www.youtube.com/user/1veritasium (I doub't you haven't already :P) However, if you check out his video about TedEd, he mentions why students find hard to grasp some of the most basic laws of physics. Here is his amazing talk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQaW2bFieo8 He clearly mentions that the key to teaching and learning physics is by starting with misconceptions. There are lots and lots of misconceptions out there. A lot about forces, velocities and acceleration. The biggest mis conception would be that FORCES MAKE THINGS MOVE I am pretty sure, that seems very reasonable, but it is not. It is 100% wrong. So I decided to give you a clear understanding of the Newton's laws by first beginning with the common misconceptions. On the survey, I found huge number of people who also have the same misconception. It is time we eradicated all this. So here I teach you Newton's laws, but i begin with the most common mis conception that we have built into our brains. Lets first understand how the universe DOESN'T work shall we? So what are you waiting for? It is time to learn Newton's laws THE RIGHT WAY. We will build up to these laws, very intuitively, and by rational thinking! You can follow me on https://www.facebook.com/FloatHeadPhysix Thank you for reading. Key to understanding forces and Newton's laws is to understand acceleration. Do you think you know what acceleration is? If you do, check whether you have a common misconception which I find with many people. Click here to learn about a common misconception about acceleration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph4Uo1bRMEc There is a pre-test here as well, but I forgot to mention that in the video. Please take the pre-test and then check how much did you get right. Thank you for reading, have a good one

Today we're discussing how a clock drives your computer, and how CPU clock speed works. Without a clock driving your computer's processor, without your processor clock speed, without that little crystal, like the one you find in your watch, your computer would just not function. Computer's rely on a constant pulsing signal to move data around and perform calculations, and it's this pulsing signal that drives everything from your hard drive to the display on your monitor. This video aims to explain how processor speed works, how the CPU clock cycle compares to the instruction cycle, how computers moved from Hz to Khz, Mhz and eventually Ghz in the quest for more computing power, as well as what Ghz means, what Mhz means and what clock speed vs cores equates to. ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! So you want to throw huge whips like pros do over giant tables and doubles, but you're riding small jumps like these. While it’s not easy to throw huge whips over small jumps, you can make the most of them. Today, I'm going to show you how. First of all, you'll need a jump with a separate lip and landing, like a tabletop or a double. You'll also need to be adept at jumping already, since throwing a nice whip means making it look easy. Most mountain bike trails have things you can launch off of but that doesn’t mean they’re ideal for whips. A purpose built jump with a landing is what you’re looking for. Since small jumps only provide limited airtime, you’ll need to boost it as high as you can. Whips require a lot of time in the air if you want to make them look stylish. If you can't boost jumps yet, watch some tutorials and practice before moving on. Learn to jump smoothly, or make it down the transition without slamming your bike or your rear wheel. Sometimes this means landing a little nose heavy which we'll get back to in a minute. Now, you want to experiment with leaning to one side when you take off. If you're an experienced jumper you’ll naturally try to compensate by bringing your front wheel straight again. This is a good thing, and it’s the key to doing a whip. Throwing a whip starts with taking off at an angle, and the rest of it is bringing your bike back to hit the landing. What you'll end up with is this squirming motion like you see here. Tweaking this out is how you get a nice whip. Now it becomes apparent that you can't always land totally straight, and this is okay most of the time. Since your rear wheel might still be kicked out a bit when landing, you want to keep your weight off of it until you’re rolling away. I find it useful to land a little bit nose heavy so that the front wheel—the one that’s straight, takes the brunt of the landing. This makes your whip look smoother and more natural. And that's the point of a whip; to look smooth and bad ass. Even a barely perceivable whip done smoothly looks better than a huge whip done sloppily, in my opinion. In any action sport, you could define "style" as making things look easy. Everyone has their own style, and no two riders will whip or do anything the same. Even if you're not throwing giant tweaked out whips, you can work on making your current whips look smoother, which is really the important part. Now for some tips. When you’re learning, increase your tire pressure so your crooked landings don’t result in flat tires. Also, like any type of jump tricks, you should drop your saddle way lower than usual. Most people will feel comfortable whipping a certain way, so if you find a jump that’s hips in that direction it actually makes it a little easier to land smoothly. If you’re catching your rear wheel hard on landings, try tilting your bike more, and pushing your rear out less. Do you guys have any tips for whipping small jumps? What size of jump do you think is the smallest you can get away with? Share your thoughts in the comments. Thanks for riding with me today, and I’ll see you next time. Streets of Rage Remake is what many fans consider to be Streets of Rage 4, although not an official Sega title. The game was developed over 7 years by Bombergames and released in 2011 for Windows. Although titled as a remake, it also incorporates new levels, enemies, features and graphical elements. The last version was v5, before Sega got the hump and requested for it to be pulled down, which is a bit upsetting, especially as Sega have done little with the IP themselves. Anyway, it's a great game and I'm here to play it.... quickly.
