"Liefde, open to all, positiviteit." ❌ ❌ ❌ AT5 - Echt Amsterdams Nieuws Abonneer hier op ons youtubekanaal: https://www.youtube.com/AT5 Tips of opmerkingen? Natalie Harp is a constant presence at President Trump’s side. She’s a 35-year-old gatekeeper, deciding much of what he sees. She stays up late with him to draft his social media posts and even texts with world leaders on his behalf. Today, Maggie Haberman, a White House correspondent for The New York Times, covers what we know about Trump’s closest aide and why people inside and outside the White House are questioning her devotion to the president.

Irish poet Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh introduces us to five beautiful Irish phrases that offer more than just a glimpse into the Irish language. They invite us to see the world a little differently. Ailbhe writes exclusively in Irish, yet her poetry has travelled far beyond Ireland through translation, reaching readers in English, French, Spanish, German, Greek, Macedonian, Czech, and Galician. Sometimes, discovering a new way of expressing an idea can open up a whole new way of seeing it. From poetic turns of phrase to feelings that are difficult to capture in English, Irish offers its own unique window onto the world. Are there any words or phrases in your language that capture something that no other language quite can? If so share them in the comments below. It was apparently footage recorded to promote Beaunit Bandera, which apparently ran a clothing store chain or boutique in the hotel. The footage features footage of models wearing 1970s outfits by various designers. It also includes as background various parts of the hotel including a merry go round (1:12 / 9:15 / 18:50), a segment with girls in a safari themed shooting gallery (2:56 / 16:40), a hot dog being served to a model (8:13/17:40), a Skee Ball arcade game area (13:50), a weird clown show (19:40). At (20:30) models pose on various stage props for the circus show including a metal tiger cage that moves across the ceiling. At (21:08) exterior of the Circus Circus "tent" with fountains illuminated and hotel marquee advertising a 68-cent breakfast buffet. Additional shots of the exterior follow. This footage was probably produced by Jay Hathaway Production Services for Roger Dee FashionVision. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed. Join us on Patreon. Visit https://www.patreon.com/PeriscopeFilm Produced in the 1960s by the Calvin Company, "The Universe and Other Things" was created to promote consulting engineers and aims to define what they do, as their role is often misunderstood. It highlights their rigorous training, professionalism, and the wide range of complex problems they solve. Consulting engineers are portrayed as generalists who apply scientific thinking to practical solutions, working within time and budget constraints. They are involved in diverse projects, from designing medical equipment to addressing global issues like pollution and urban decay. The script emphasizes their crucial role in shaping the future and improving people's lives, even though their contributions often go unrecognized. 00:00 Engineers, often unseen, are vital. While college engineers are recognizable (slide rules), professional consulting engineers undergo rigorous training, licensing similar to healthcare. 1:54 nuclear bomb detonates at Operation Crossroads. 2:13 Canadian National locomotive type FPA-4 pulls a train past camera. 2:31 college students enter an engineering building. 3:22-: Unlike some professions, engineers lack a strong public image; consulting engineers are particularly misunderstood (not railroad workers). Surveys reveal varied, simplistic perceptions. 3:26 college graduates in caps and gowns. 3:37 a female student reads a book. 3:53 The Yellow Pages. 4:35: Consulting engineers tackle complex problems (medical equipment to pollution). Their expertise is diverse. They sell time/talent, making key design choices (plans/specs), operating as businesses (economics/politics). 5:11 Boy building a treehouse. 5:35: Voyager space probe. 5:48: Doctors in an operating room. 7:06 Floor of a political convention. 7:23: Despite global impact (science/tech), their contributions are often unseen. While some specialize, many are generalists, adapting to diverse global projects. 9:29:Their work is public, no hiding failures. Their ethics are ancient (service to mankind). 11:00: Engineering applies science to practical problems (jet engines, water treatment), distinct from pure science. Episode 5 - https://youtu.be/mhKUmlm7kgo In World War II, success wasn't just about frontline weaponry; espionage and intelligence played crucial roles. Devices like the Enigma and codebreakers like the Bombe were as vital as tanks and guns. Weapons were designed for partisans and assassins, made for stealth and ease of hiding. If we shrink down to the size of one of the tiniest particles in physics… We’d be able to zoom between the atoms of solid rock as easily as flying through the empty space between stars in our galaxy They call them GHOST PARTICLES because they’re so small. But how do you detect something that can GO RIGHT THROUGH any detector? You build a very, very, large machine. To see that, subscribe! #science #tech #space #physics #machine

Are you able to set some money aside each month like Marno? 💸👀 🇳🇱 Marno, 29, lives in the Dutch town of Emmen, near the border with Germany. He and his partner spend about €1,300 per month on rent whilst saving up to buy their own home. Not an easy task in a country with one of the worst housing crises in Europe… 🏠 According to the Dutch Ministry of Housing and Social Planning, the Netherlands currently face a shortage of nearly 400,000 homes. This has put pressure on both the rental and buying market, where the average house now goes for €500,000. 💡 Besides building more, officials are also exploring a more unusual solution: divide up existing homes into slightly smaller dwellings that can, in total, accommodate more people. Whilst the average European has 1.7 rooms at their disposal, in the Netherlands, it’s closer to 2.1. 👉 What about you, would you be ready to give up some space to fix the housing crisis? Amazons CEO, Jeff Bezos, wil in feite het enige bedrijf ter wereld worden, aldus hoogleraar Douglas Rushkoff.
