The biggest challenge making your own Iron Man power suit - that you can actually wear! – is how much detail. Every expects it to look accurate in terms of colour and shaping, and if you’re going to get inside it latches, strapping and so on is a must but… what else? Do you motorise the faceplate? The upload date on the video is Feb 4 2014. At this time there were no clones as the SJ4000 had only just come out a couple of weeks earlier. Companies can't clone what doesn't exist. This was the first review of the SJ4000 on youtube. I mentioned in the video, that it was likely clones of this camera would start appearing soon. I had experienced this occur before with various popular mini cameras, and a few months later SJ4000 clones did start to appear. The clones were the reason for the later SJCAM rebrand - I was in touch with the manufacturers a few months prior to making this video and I recommended that they start branding their camera with a recognisable name rather than just a number so people could better identify their specific models and avoid buying clones. When they introduced the SJ4000 WiFi camera they started branding all their cameras with the SJCAM name. This is the third version of my Strapping System and 'inner armour'. The biggest challenge making your own Iron Man power suit - that you can actually wear! – is how much detail. Every expects it to look accurate in terms of colour and shaping, and if you’re going to get inside it latches, strapping and so on is a must but… what else? Do you motorise the faceplate? How much lighting and depth do you give the unibeam? What kind of flexibility and motion do the knees, knuckles and neck need? Well, hopefully you’ll agree I went all out on this Iron Man build.
