Instead I made some Studs and I show how I did this. Gelukkig is het iets koeler, want ff een frisse duik in ‘t water wordt de komende dagen afgeraden door waterschap Amstel, Gooi, Vecht en de gemeente Amsterdam. 🚫🏊 💩 De regenbuien van afgelopen weekend hebben effect op ‘t gemengde rioleringssysteem in Amsterdam, dat werkt met een overstortsysteem. 💦 Dat houdt in dat regenwater en afvalwater (van wc’s, douches, etc.) door dezelfde buizen stromen. Normaal gaat alles naar de rioolwaterzuivering, maar bij hevige regen komt er zoveel water in het systeem dat de buizen het niet meer aankunnen. Om te voorkomen dat riolen overstromen en kelders onderlopen, zijn er ‘overstorten’ ingebouwd die ervoor zorgen dat het overtollige water - inclusief ongezuiverd rioolwater - rechtstreeks op de grachten en het IJ terechtkomt. Een tijdje geleden nam Klaas (66) van stichting Waternet ons mee het Amsterdamse riool in, waar hij het nog ff wat beeldender voor je maakt. Meer jonge mensen in de bestuurskamer van amateurverenigingen: dat is het doel van een nieuw programma van de gemeente, de KNVB en Ajax. Twaalf zogenaamde Bigshots krijgen twee jaar lang trainingen en cursussen en doen bestuurservaring op bij een amateurvereniging. "Het is belangrijk dat de nieuwe generatie het stokje gaat overnemen.' Sportwethouder Sofyan Mbarki gooit er meteen maar een bekend voetbalcliché in: als het rommelt in de bestuurskamer, rommelt het op het veld. "Dat is bij profclubs zo, maar net zo goed op amateurniveau. Als je geen goed bestuur hebt, wordt het heel moeilijk om jeugdtrainers en vrijwilligers aan je te binden en bijvoorbeeld de kantine te runnen", vertelt hij vanuit de bestuurskamer van GeuzenMiddenmeer in Oost. Annabelle Hinam (28) voetbalt hier al vanaf haar achtste. "Het is het grootste onderdeel van mijn sociale leven. Ik ben hier vaak drie, vier keer per week." Sinds drie jaar zit ze ook in het bestuur van de club. "Ik vond het oneerlijk dat vrouwen vaker op de slechte velden moesten spelen, dus had vaak discussies in de bestuurskamer. Toen dacht ik: ik kan wel steeds met deze mensen in discussie, maar ik kan ook gewoon zelf in het bestuur gaan." Bestuur Annabelle is een van de twaalf jonge Amsterdammers die meedoet aan het programma Bigshots. Twee jaar lang krijgen zij cursussen en trainingen van bedrijven en maatschappelijke organisaties en doen ze bestuurservaring op bij een amateurvereniging. "Het is een goede kans om te leren hoe het echt moet. Vaak doe ik maar wat en al gaat het vaak goed, ben ik ook benieuwd om te zien hoe iemand anders het zou doen of bepaalde problemen zou oplossen." Op dit moment lopen er overwegend oudere mannen rond in de bestuurskamer, vertelt Mbarki. "Er zit ontzettend veel kennis bij die heren. Maar het mag een beetje verjongen, zonder dat we alle kennis ervaring verloren laten gaan.
