Komende week komen er weer afsluitingen aan voor het project Zuidasdok en wordt er veel verkeershinder verwacht aan de zuidkant van de stad. De A4 en de A10 Zuid zijn op verschillende momenten dicht. Er rijden ook geen treinen van en naar station Zuid. Sporen weg voor tunnel Tijdens de afsluiting wordt een groot treindek ingeschoven voor de nieuwe Vivaldi-fietstunnel. Bouwmanager Jeroen Monnik legt uit dat de impact op het spoor groot is: "Van 13 tot en met 17 mei halen we alle sporen weg, schuiven we het dek op zijn plaats en bouwen we de sporen terug". Het doel is dat de treinen op maandagochtend weer volgens de dienstregeling rijden. Tot een uur vertraging Verkeersmanager Johan Feld waarschuwt dat ook automobilisten niet ontkomen aan de hinder. Op de A10 Zuid zijn rijstroken dicht en weggebruikers richting Utrecht moeten rekening houden met 30 tot 60 minuten extra reistijd. Feld adviseert reizigers dan ook om thuis te werken als dat mogelijk is en de spits te vermijden. De grootste hinder wordt verwacht op woensdag 13 en zondag 17 mei. "Dan worden er namelijk meerdere rijstroken afgesloten op de A10 zuid van West naar Oost." De verwachte extra reistijd zorgt voor verschillende geluiden onder automobilisten. "Ik zal er rekening mee houden", vertelt een man. Terwijl een andere man zich vooral afvraagt "wanneer het een keer is afgelopen". Omleidingen en openbaar vervoer "Automobilisten uit de richting Schiphol/Haarlem kunnen omrijden via de A9 en A2 of via de A5", verteld Monnik. Rond 19.30 uur ging de oefening van start. Binnen stond harde muziek aan en met onder meer rookmachines werd een brand nagebootst. Op de grond lagen figuranten met realistische nepverwondingen op hun lichaam. Agressieve man Agenten kwamen als eerst aan bij het leegstaande pand. Ze werden meteen geconfronteerd met een agressieve man. "Lekker wegwezen, oprotten", riep hij. Uiteindelijk werd hij opgepakt omdat hij niet mee wilde werken. Op de derde verdieping liep nog een tweede boze man. Een brandweerman uit Abcoude sprak van een realistische oefening. "Normaal oefenen we vaak met poppen en nu hadden we gewoon echte mensen. Die dan, nogmaals, onderdeel zijn van de brandweer of iets dergelijks. Met geënsceneerde wonden. Dat maakt het heel realistisch."
