In this week’s guitar meeting, Jouyan presented an exceptional selection of vintage and modern guitars, ranging from a 19th-century romantic instrument to state-of-the-art contemporary builds. Highlights included a 1972 Daniel Friedrich concert model, praised for its balance, sustain, and refinement, and an 1838 Louis Panormo, described as a benchmark romantic guitar offering a soft, dark, and calming sound. A major focus was a brand-new 2025 Jim Redgate double-top, on which Ana Vidović recorded an entire concert, showcasing the power, sustain, and ease of play of modern double-top guitars.
