In ‘De Spots van…’ neemt een bekende Amsterdammer je mee naar zijn of haar favoriete plekken in de binnenstad. Wijnkenner Pepijn Diepstraten struint samen met FC Centrum langs zijn vaste adresjes in het Centrum, waar hij zijn wijnen haalt, bijvoorbeeld rond de feestdagen. We starten op de Haarlemmerdijk bij Lof, de wijnwinkel van restaurant Zoldering (bekroond met één Michelinster) aan de Utrechtsestraat. In de winkel vind je dezelfde wijnen die ook op de menukaart staan: van toegankelijke flessen rond de tien euro tot exclusievere parels. Pepijns tip: Een indrukwekkende magnumfles doet het áltijd goed aan tafel. Daarna gaan we verder de Jordaan in - de Westerstraat, om precies te zijn - naar de alcoholvrije slijterij World of Nix. Volgens Pepijn vertelt moet je alcoholvrije wijn eigenlijk zien als een heel andere categorie dan gewone wijn; vergelijken heeft weinig zin. Maar als je dat eenmaal weet, én je staat ervoor open om het te leren drinken, dan kan het écht heel lekker zijn. Tot slot is het tijd voor een bubbel! We gaan naar ‘t Rokin naar L' Atelier du Champagne. Een schitterende zaak met een eigen cave (ondergrondse wijnkelder). Je vindt er zowel grote bekende huizen als kleinere producenten.
