Zo'n tweehonderd mannen liepen vandaag een mars van de Dam naar het Museumplein. Een protest voor de veiligheid en bescherming van vrouwen. De mars was gericht op mannen omdat zij volgens de actiegroep verantwoordelijk zijn voor het geweld en daarmee ook de oplossing van dat probleem zouden moeten zijn. "We vonden het visueel sterker overkomen als we alleen met mannen de mars zouden lopen, zodat vrouwen zouden zien dat juist wij voor hun veiligheid staan", zegt organisator Bas Waijers. "We hebben daarbij ook advies van vrouwen gevraagd over hun gedachtegang. We vinden naast de stoet ook belangrijk dat mannen hier met elkaar kunnen praten, en dat mannen elkaar leren aanspreken." Het opstaan voor veiligheid en bescherming van vrouwen is dan ook het doel, zegt medeorganisator Oscar Kroes. "Jongens vallen steeds vaker buiten de boot en wij vinden dat we de veiligheid van vrouwen moeten waarborgen. Ik vind dat wij als mannen daar verantwoordelijk voor zijn." Er was ook kritiek op de mannenmars. Het feministische platform Emancipator zei dat bij de mannenmars de man als ‘de beschermer’ gezien wordt, terwijl mannen juist ‘de bedreiger’ zouden zijn omtrent het geweld. "Ik ben absoluut niet voor dwingende rolpatronen", reageert Kroes. "Ik vind dat we mannen oproepen om meer beschermend te zijn. Daarmee zeg ik niet dat een beschermer een exclusieve rol voor mannen is. We hebben gekozen om aan het einde van de mars af te spreken met vrouwen om daar te herenigen." De stoet liep via het Singel en Frederiksplein en eindigde op het Museumplein. Daar stonden meerdere vrouwen de mannen van de mars op te wachten. Opnieuw een woonprotest in de binnenstad vanmiddag. De eerste was in 2021, maar in die vijf jaar tijd is het nog niet veel opgeschoten, zeggen de organisatoren. Het motto luidt: 'Huizen voor mensen, niet voor winst'. Op het protest zijn honderden mensen afgekomen. De demonstratie begon om 14.00 uur op de Dam met sprekers en muziek. Daarna volgde een mars door de binnenstad en eindigde de actie rond 15.45 uur weer op de Dam. Deelnemers eisen 'fundamentele veranderingen in de Nederlandse volkshuisvesting'. "In Nederland is de wooncrisis niet opgelost, maar juist verergerd. Huren zijn de afgelopen jaren explosief gestegen, betaalbare woningen worden steeds schaarser en steeds meer mensen krijgen te maken met woononzekerheid", zo staat in de aankondiging. "Tegelijkertijd neemt het aantal dakloze mensen toe." Arnold Palmer Rice Bubble Slice Ingredients - 150g Rice bubbles - 280 g plain marshmallows - 4 lemons - 2 limes - 60 g butter - 1 tbsp loose Earl Grey tea Method 1. Place the butter and tea in a small saucepan over low heat. Once the butter has melted, set aside to infuse for 5 min 2. Use a fine grater to zest 3 lemons and 1 Lime. 3. Place the zest into a large pot along with the juice of 1 lemon and then pass the infused butter through a fine strainer into the same pot. Add marshmallows then place over a med high heat and stir constantly until the marshmallows have completely melted. 4. Once melted, tur the heat off and add the rice bubbles, stir until combined. 5. Transfer the mixture to deep roasting tray lined with parchment paper and press to flatten. Zest over top the last lemon and lime. 6. keep at room temperature to 1 hour or until set. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Zo zou een getroffen jurist van het hof geen toegang meer hebben tot Microsoft, en werd financiële dienstverlening via Amerikaanse bedrijven afgesneden. Nu breidt de VS het pakket maatregelen uit en dreigt het hele hof afgesneden te worden van zulke diensten. De Amerikaanse regering vindt dat het hof geen bevoegdheid heeft om Amerikaanse staatsburgers of burgers van Amerikaanse bondgenoten te vervolgen.
