At the time his official designation was the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party. It's not exactly clear what year these images were captured, but we believe it is almost certainly 1963 as he is known to have visited Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and North Vietnam in January of that year. The film begins with images (possibly shot in Indonesia but it's not clear) starting with a little boy 0:05 looking at the cameraman. At :24 part of the delegation is seen walking with a group of locals, at :50 what appears to be a Hudson Hornet drives along a jungle road. Images shot from the rear of a car show rice paddies, and pedestrians carrying various items. Een ongewoon beeld vandaag op het normaal zo drukke Centraal Station. Er reed geen enkele trein vanwege werkzaamheden om het station toekomstbestendig te maken. Het aantal reizigers neemt de laatste jaren namelijk flink toe en daardoor moet er meer ruimte komen voor extra treinverkeer en een betere doorstroom van de vele reizigers.  Geen trein te bekennen, compleet lege perrons, afgesloten roltrappen en borden zonder de bekende vertrektijden. Voor wie de aankondiging had gemist was er de mededeling van de stationsomroeper. Maar waar het stil lijkt, wordt intussen door medewerkers van ProRail hard gewerkt aan de verruiming en het onderhoud van het station.  Wat we hier doen is de perrons breder maken, we willen meer trein en reizigers, daarom moeten de perrons, breder worden gemaakt, en dat doen we in de spoorbak, er lagen drie sporen en nu twee. Dus in deze bak zie je hoe dat eruitziet Het middelste spoor was vroeger voor stoomtreinen en is dus niet meer nodig. Door de spoorbak smaller te maken, kunnen de perrons dus worden verbreed. Spoor 14 blijft hierom zelfs tot volgend jaar zomer buiten gebruik.  het is een hele complexe operatie, vooral te maken omdat we weinig ruimte hebben, vandaag geen reizigers maar normaal wel, dus dat betekent dat we het werk alleen in kleine stapjes kunnen uitvoeren.  Omdat de sporen worden verplaatst moeten er ook nieuwe bovenleidingen worden aangesloten. De komende jaren wordt ook de Oostbrug vervangen, de onderliggende reizigerstunnel verbreed en de andere perrons vergroot. Ook komt er nog een extra fietsenstalling. Want waar zes jaar geleden zo'n 200.000 reizigers per dag de trein namen van en naar het CS, stijgt dat aantal in 2030 naar ongeveer 275.000 reizigers.  ja de adammers blijven merken dat er steeds perrons buiten gebruik, oosttoegang dicht en af en toe het station dicht en dus ook af en toe geen treinen hier? ja af en toe het station 24 uur dicht  Morgen zal het grootste deel van de treinen van en naar het CS weer rijden en vanaf dinsdagochtend 5 uur gaat de normale dienstregeling weer van start. Het gebruik van crack, een rookbare en meer verslavende vorm van cocaïne, neemt zichtbaar toe. Hoeveel mensen precies deze drug gebruiken is lastig te zeggen, de GGD schat dat er 3000 tot 9000 gebruikers in de stad zijn. Crack kwam in de jaren tachtig op, tijdens de heroïne-epidemie. We blikken terug met twee oud-politieagenten die die periode van dichtbij meemaakten en parallellen zien met de situatie van nu. ''Wat is dit voor een leven? Crack gebruiken met iemand die je eigenlijk niet kent?'', vragen oud-politieagenten Bob Schagen en Arno van Leeuwen aan de gebruikers die ze tegenkomen. ''Ja, jullie hebben gelijk. Ik schaam me. Zeven jaar geleden vertelde iemand mij dat crack een vorm van marihuana was, maar dat was natuurlijk gelogen. Voordat ik het wist, was ik verslaafd aan crack'', vertelt een gebruiker, die liever anoniem wil blijven. Dit soort gesprekken voerden Schagen en Van Leeuwen 45 jaar geleden ook al met drugsgebruikers. Schagen werkte destijds in het centrum, Van Leeuwen in Oost. Vanuit hun werk kregen ze van dichtbij te maken met de heroïne-epidemie van destijds in Amsterdam. Dealers oppakken De gemeente en politie traden hard op om de overlast en het drugsgebruik terug te dringen. Er werden zogenoemde schoonveegacties gehouden: kraakpanden werden ontruimd, dealercafés gesloten en speciale politieteams richtten zich op groepen verslaafden. Schagen en Van Leeuwen hielden zich vooral bezig met dat laatste. Ze waren voortdurend bezig met het opsporen en oppakken van dealers. ''We gingen continu in gesprek met gebruikers om een beeld te krijgen wie hun dealers waren. Zo konden we een profiel van de dealers samenstellen en hen vervolgens oppakken. Die kregen vervolgens twee jaar gevangenisstraf.'' Hoewel beide mannen niet betrokken zijn bij de huidige aanpak, hopen ze dat de bestrijding van dealers opnieuw prioriteit krijgt. De aanpak van 45 jaar geleden was volgens de oud-agenten anders, maar hun boodschap is nog altijd hetzelfde: ''Pak die dealers aan.'' ''Als zij er niet zijn, gebruik jij ook minder,'' zeggen ze tegen een crackgebruiker die ze aanspreken. Maar volgens hem is het vinden van drugs tegenwoordig niet moeilijk. ''Hoe ik aan drugs kom? Ik heb niet eens een nummer. Je kunt ze hier in het Oosterpark gewoon aanspreken.'' Het doet de oud-politieagenten pijn om dat te horen. ''De geschiedenis herhaalt zich'', zeggen ze. Volgens Schagen en Van Leeuwen is het zonder enige vorm van repressie 'dweilen met de kraan open'. Wie weet wie de dealers zijn en hoe hun netwerk eruitziet, kan volgens hen ook gerichter beleid maken. Tegelijkertijd erkennen de twee dat de huidige situatie complexer is dan 45 jaar geleden. Volgens hen moet de aanpak daarom uit meerdere onderdelen bestaan. ''Verslaafden moeten worden geholpen, dealers aangepakt en er moeten goede gebruikersruimtes zijn waar mensen kunnen worden opgevangen. This is the best way to Grill a Skirt Steak Ingredients - 1.6kg skirt steak - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce - 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp dried Mexican oregano - 2 cloves garlic, finely grated - 1 orange, juice and zest - 3/4 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper Method 1. Add the olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Mexican oregano, garlic, orange zest, orange juice, salt and pepper to an oven tray and mix well. 2. Add the skirt steak and massage the marinade into the meat. Marinate in the fridge for 4 hours. 3. Preheat a charcoal BBQ and wait for the embers to glow red hot. Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel. Sear hot and fast on both sides until it reaches medium rare. 4. Rest the steak for 10 minutes before carving. Slice the skirt steak with the grain into 4-5 pieces. Rotate the pieces 90º then carve into thin strips against the grain.
