De kunstenaar houdt de plek sindsdien nauwlettend in de gaten en merkte vanmorgen op dat de meteoriet elke tien minuten actief begon te roken. AT5 ging mee op inspectie: "Je weet nooit wat zo'n ding vanuit het heelal meeneemt." "Ja, het is een behoorlijke krater geworden", merkt Van Munster op, terwijl hij met een drukspuit vloeistof in het gat spuit. "Normaal gesproken is er van de hele binnenstad niets over als zo'n ding uit elkaar spat, dus we hebben eigenlijk geluk gehad." De meteoriet, die "op een haar na" Paradiso miste, kwam neer op het veldje naast de poptempel, tot voor kort de verblijfplaats van het welbekende mini-huisje. Of de kunstenaar het huisje mist? "Ik vond het altijd leuk om erlangs te fietsen na het uitgaan, om te zien of de lampjes brandden. Maar het is een tendens: alles moet tijdelijk zijn en snel weer weg." "Vroeger waren we bang voor onweer, de dreiging van God, zaken die ongrijpbaar zijn, maar tegenwoordig is de mensheid een bedreiging voor zichzelf." Een Duitse toerist komt het terrein op lopen: "It makes me think of tonight, when the sun goes out." Van Munster knikt: "The eclipse." "Yes, yes, the eclipse." De Duitser vertelt enthousiast over de vallende sterren die vannacht verwacht worden, totdat zijn vrouw hem vanaf de straat terugroept. Met het werk wil Van Munster dan aandacht vragen voor onzichtbare dreiging: "Het is een inslag in stilte. Neem de klimaatproblemen: iedereen weet al jaren dat het warmer en warmer wordt, en als het eenmaal zo ver is, dan kun je niet meer terug."
