It presents a vivid portrait of Miami Beach and southern Florida as a vibrant, sun-drenched destination blending modern leisure with natural beauty. Once a swampy wilderness, Miami was transformed by pioneers drawn to its year-round warmth. Iconic Collins Avenue hosts miles of oceanfront hotels, while off-season summers bring lower prices despite the heat. Visitors enjoy sunbathing, shopping at Lincoln Mall, and marine attractions like dolphin shows at the Seaquarium. Outdoor adventures include deep-sea fishing and excursions to Key West, a historic island city with deep maritime roots. Florida’s unique ecosystem, especially its expanding mangrove islands and the wildlife-rich Everglades, offers a natural counterpoint to the area's urban pleasures—all just a short distance from one another. 0:10 – Scenic oceanfront views in Miami Beach, Florida, are introduced as part of the modern American dream. 0:33 – Once a desolate swamp, Miami Beach was transformed by pioneers seeking sun, land, and prosperity; the discovery that Florida has no winter sparked rapid migration. 1:44 – Collins Avenue features a long strip of oceanfront hotels, offering different views year-round; off-season is summer due to high temperatures, not weather. 2:36 – Sunbathing is a local culture; tanning in Florida is seen as unique due to its ease and year-round accessibility. 3:01 – Lincoln Mall offers shaded shopping and a quaint tram, giving tourists alternatives to the beach. 3:16 – The Miami Seaquarium entertains with monorail rides and dolphin shows, showcasing marine life both underwater and in the air. 4:17 – Deep-sea fishing is a serious but popular activity; tourists can catch large fish like marlin and tuna, with help from professionals. 5:02 – Tourists often continue to Key West, the southernmost city in the continental U.S., known for colonial homes and maritime heritage. 6:00 – Although hotels are modern, Key West maintains traditional seafaring roots and abundant wildlife, including pelicans. 6:19 – Florida’s mangrove keys grow naturally, expanding the land; the mangrove is a resilient symbol of Florida’s landscape. 6:44 – In Royal Palm Hammock within Everglades National Park, visitors can walk through preserved natural wilderness on a boardwalk. 7:11 – The nature experience offers a stark contrast to Miami’s urban pleasures, yet is only an hour away, allowing tourists to enjoy both worlds. This reel starts with a fragment of an episode about why onions cause you to cry, and then has a complete episode showing spaghetti and pasta manufacturing at the Cafferata Ravioli Factory in San Francisco, California (now defunct). Created by Frank Buxton and co-produced by Peanuts animator Lee Mendelson, "Hot Dog" was affectionately known as a "program about stuff". The concept was inspired by Buxton's travels visiting various factories and was designed to answer kids' questions about the mechanics behind everyday objects. The show used a creative mix of upbeat cinematography, live-action factory tours, and a groovy soundtrack provided by the American rock band The Youngbloods. ❌ ❌ ❌ AT5 - Echt Amsterdams Nieuws Abonneer hier op ons youtubekanaal: https://www.youtube.com/AT5 Tips of opmerkingen? https://youtu.be/-San7qEfAMg Deep in the Transylvanian forests, an ancient Bear Cult has survived. Here, Europe’s greatest land predator is a symbol of rebirth in the New Year. Modern Romania has not lost its fascination with bears. It peaked under Ceausescu, in a breeding programme designed to satisfy the dictator’s hunting obsession. His regime is now history, but the bears are still there; and with ever-increasing numbers, conflict is unavoidable. Romania has more bears than any other European country: over 6,000! We follow a female bear and her three cubs as they move from the mountains to become “problem bears” in the town. Three Romanians show, in their different ways, the country’s ambivalent attitude to bears. Follow shepherd Petre Clem, activist Laura Niculescu and the ranger Bogdan Sulica. They all have their own solutions to the same problem. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. A severed ear, a geisha print, and a hidden crucifixion. Van Gogh’s most haunting self-portrait at the Courtauld asks questions few dare to answer. Travel from the Yellow House in Arles to the roar of the bullring to uncover why a razor, a brothel, and a woman named Rachel sit at the heart of this mystery. See how Japanese prints by Hiroshige and a specific geisha scene slip into the background for a reason, why an easel starts to look like a cross, and how Gauguin’s arrival lights the fuse. Then step inside the Courtauld Gallery painting to trace echoes of Rubens and Delacroix and the enduring pull of Mary Magdalene on Van Gogh’s imagination. The clues are all there; the meaning clicks into place only when you see how each piece fits. Watch to discover how Arles, bullfighting rituals, and a single room drenched in sunflowers illuminate the truth behind the bandage. Stay to rethink a painting you thought you knew. #VanGogh #Courtauld #Arles #Gauguin #ArtHistory #JapanesePrints #Bullfighting

"Elke is bijzonder.

#geopolitiek #VN #VerenigdeNaties #UnitedNations #Frankrijk #VerenigdeStaten #GrootBrittannie #Europa #Westen #Veiligheidsraad #China #MondialeZuiden

This documentary explores the controversial "Hooked X" symbol found on North American runestones, suggesting a secret medieval expedition.
