In het onderzoek naar misbruikverdachte Jan B. (66) is een nieuw slachtoffer naar voren gekomen. Dat blijkt vandaag op een nieuwe zitting in de zaak. Nu het onderzoek is afgerond blijkt dat er in ieder geval veertien slachtoffers bekend zijn bij het Openbaar Ministerie. De verdenking bij het nieuwe slachtoffer gaat over ontuchtige handelingen, wat er precies is gebeurd blijft onduidelijk. B. verhuurde zich in Amsterdam als medewerker aan kinderdagverblijven en als zorgprofessional voor kwetsbare kinderen. De man wordt onder andere vervolgd voor een poging tot verkrachting van een 2-jarig meisje op een locatie van kinderopvang Partou in Amsterdam en onzedelijke betastingen van onder meer een 13-jarige jongen. Het onderzoek is inmiddels afgerond en het einddossier is klaar. Het laatste slachtoffer is erbij gekomen naar aanleiding van de meldingen die bij de politie zijn binnengekomen rond de eerste zitting in de zaak. Het is de verwachting dat het bij dit aantal slachtoffers blijft. De politie en het Openbaar Ministerie hebben al het materiaal op alle gegevensdragers beoordeeld. Joannes (Jan) B. was vandaag aanwezig bij een nieuwe zogeheten pro forma zitting in zijn zaak. Maar waar hij vorige zittingen via zijn gehoorapparaat kon volgen, verstond hij er vandaag 'geen bal van'. Gevraagd naar de verdenkingen reageerde hij wel: "Ik vind er een hoop van, maar daar zeg ik niets over." De man wordt binnenkort onderzocht in het Pieter Baan Centrum, hij kan daar naar verwachting half oktober worden opgenomen. Aanhouding Jan B. De 66-jarige Joannes B. werd aangehouden nadat een vader van een meisje van twee jaar aangifte had gedaan. Zijn dochtertje zat op 20 november vorig jaar bij de invalkracht op schoot, waarna hij haar zou hebben betast. Het gebeurde op de eerste dag dat de man als invalkracht werkzaam was bij het kinderdagverblijf in de stad. Naast de poging verkrachting van een 2-jarig meisje zou de man een 13-jarige jongen onzedelijk te hebben betast toen hij in januari 2024 aan de zorg van de verdachte was toevertrouwd. Op de tenlastelegging worden naast deze twee zaken nog meer kinderen vermeld, van twee kinderen zou de verdachte naaktfoto's hebben gemaakt. Het gaat om een jongetje van drie jaar oud en een baby. De slotweek van World Pride is gisteravond begonnen met een groot concert in de Pride Village op het Museumplein. Artiesten als Beth Ditto, Billy Porter en Joss Stone traden op tijdens het betaalde evenement. "Dit is fantastisch". Artiesten uit binnen- en buitenland werden tijdens het concert begeleid door het New Amsterdam Orchestra. De show werd gepresenteerd door Songfestivalicoon Conchita Wurst en de Nederlandse dragqueen Envy Peru. Alle optredens waren speciale uitvoeringen van verschillende Pride-nummers. "Het is heel bijzonder om hier te zijn", vertelt zangeres Berget Lewis. "Tien jaar geleden stond ik op de Dam en nu mogen we dat weer doen hier in Amsterdam op het Museumplein. Ik ben vereerd dat ik hier mag staan. Naast Berget Lewis gaf ook de Amsterdamse songwriter Paul Morris een optreden op het Museumplein. "Ik ben helemaal zenuwachtig merk ik", lachte hij. "Want het is gewoon zo groot." World Pride tot zondag Bezoekers kunnen het concert zeer waarderen. "Na zo'n Canal Parade val je eigenlijk in zo'n gat", legde een van hen uit. "Maar nu is het World Pride en heb je een hele lange week om nog te genieten." De Pride Village staat nog op het Museumplein tot komend weekend. Ingredients - 260 grams all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoons salt - 1.5 teaspoons baking powder - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 200 grams plain yoghurt Add the flour, salt, baking powder, and olive oil to a bowl, followed by the plain yoghurt, and mix until you have a shaggy dough. Turn the dough out onto a board and knead until smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Cover and rest the dough for 30 minutes Divide the dough into six equal balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball out into a thin flatbread. Heat a dry pan over high heat and cook each flatbread until puffed up and lightly charred on one side. Flip and continue cooking on the other side until done. Serve warm.
