Chatamari - Nepalese rice crepe **Ingredients:** - 1 red onion, diced - 3 tomatoes, diced - small bunch of coriander, roughly chopped - 1 green chilli, finely diced - small knob of ginger, finely grated - 3 cloves of garlic, finely grated - 500g beef mince (buffalo is commonly used in Nepal, but any ground meat will work) [approx. 1.1 lbs] - 1.5 tsp salt - 1 tsp cumin - 1 tsp coriander powder - 6 eggs in total (two for the meat mixture and one for each of the Chatamaris) - 1 cup rice flour **Method:** 1. To prepare the meat topping, simply mix together the red onion, tomatoes, coriander, green chilli, ginger, garlic, beef mince, salt, cumin, coriander powder, and two of the eggs in a bowl. Set aside. 2. For the rice flour batter, put the rice flour into a mixing bowl. Begin with 2/3 of a cup of water, whisking until smooth. Gradually add more water until you achieve the consistency of a crêpe batter. 3. To cook the Chatamari, heat a non-stick pan over low heat. Pour in enough batter to just cover the bottom, creating a thin layer similar to a crêpe. (Non-stick pans are highly recommended for this recipe to prevent sticking due to the wet batter and low cooking temperature. If you have a incredibly well seasoned cast iron pan you might get away with it) 4. Spoon the meat mixture over the batter in the pan, spreading it out evenly. Then, crack an egg into the center of each Chatamari. 5. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 6-7 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked through and the egg is set to your liking. 6. This is a full-size tracing of wall no. 9, the Pure Land of Miroku, in the Kondo of Horyuji temple, Nara, painted in the late 7th century. In December 1879, the British diplomat Ernest Satow (1843-1929) visited Horyuji together with William Anderson and saw the Kondo wall-paintings. Realizing their importance, he commissioned the painter Sakurai Koun to produce a copy of wall no. 9, and this project began in May 1880. A duplicate copy was given to the head of the Museum Bureau, Machida Hisanari (1838-97), to encourage him to commission a full set of copies. Satow sent his copy of wall no. 9 to Anderson, who had returned to England in early 1880. Having formed part of the Anderson Collection at the British Museum since 1881, the drawing was rediscovered by Princess Akiko of Mikasa in 2007, during the research for her doctoral thesis.

They do not rely on emotions. Instead, they create music that affects our emotions. This is a trained skill, not an inborn talent. Playing classical guitar is a long-term study. It's something we do in our homes as part of our days. We play for ourselves, for the quality it adds to life. We may enjoy playing guitar for others, but most of the time we are alone with our work. There are methods and formulas for great practice. We can use our time well so that see more progress. We can fix the problems and erase the mistakes. And we can enjoy conquering the plentiful challenges that classical guitar music offers. If you plan to play classical guitar for any length of time, it is worth it to get help. One year with lil Sonny Bunny in our family! He’s the greatest lil cuddly bun 💛🧡🤎 I love pet rabbits and have had years of experience with them so always like including a PSA: They should not be gifted as novelty pets, they aren’t ideal for children as they are prey animals that don’t typically love being handled and picked up. They shouldn’t be caged, they need lots of room to live and play, with 24hr access to Hay and lots of environment stimulation - plus a lot of bunny proofing as they can chew through anything and escape out of almost anything. They CAN be litter trained but don’t respond well to vocal commands like dogs. (I’ve had great success with clicking sounds and hand signals for training) they are incredibly fragile with sensitive digestive systems and don’t show obvious signs of sickness so unfortunately can fall fatally ill rapidly. They require exotic vets, which even in major cities can be difficult especially in emergencies. They can live up to 10+ years! They poop all day, nap up to 18 times a day, are silent and are self cleaning, they don’t have an odor unless you don’t clean their homes enough. They can take years to form a bond with other rabbits and humans. Saganaki with roasted figs Ingredients: - 4 figs, cut in half - 2 tbsp honey - 350g cheese (I used Buffalo Milk Halloumi, but Graviera, Kefalograviera, and Kefalotyri are more traditional) (approx. 12 oz) - 200g flour (approx. 7 oz or 1.5 cup) - 4 tbsp olive oil - lemon wedges, to serve - mint leaves, to garnish Method: 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Place the fig halves onto an oven tray and drizzle with honey. Roast for 10 minutes. 2. Cut the cheese into slices approximately 20mm (about 0.8 inches) thick and lightly dust them with flour. 3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the cheese slices on both sides until golden brown. 4. To serve, arrange the fried cheese and roasted figs on a plate. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and mint leaves. 5. One year with lil Sonny Bunny in our family! He’s the greatest lil cuddly bun 💛🧡🤎 I love pet rabbits and have had years of experience with them so always like including a PSA: They should not be gifted as novelty pets, they aren’t ideal for children as they are prey animals that don’t typically love being handled and picked up. They shouldn’t be caged, they need lots of room to live and play, with 24hr access to Hay and lots of environment stimulation - plus a lot of bunny proofing as they can chew through anything and escape out of almost anything. They CAN be litter trained but don’t respond well to vocal commands like dogs. (I’ve had great success with clicking sounds and hand signals for training) they are incredibly fragile with sensitive digestive systems and don’t show obvious signs of sickness so unfortunately can fall fatally ill rapidly. They require exotic vets, which even in major cities can be difficult especially in emergencies. They can live up to 10+ years! They poop all day, nap up to 18 times a day, are silent and are self cleaning, they don’t have an odor unless you don’t clean their homes enough. They can take years to form a bond with other rabbits and humans. But a bonded bunny is like no other 🤎 Sonny is an exceptionally good yet rare example of a pet rabbit, years of research, prep and patience helped with that! #hollandlop #petrabbit #bunniesofinstagram #petlovers #freeroambunny #petlife
