Here are some tips to eliminate bass string squeak when you shift positions on your guitar. Release your finger slightly off the string first, move it, and then put it back down again. You can also imagine you are releasing the finger backwards, towards the nut. And remember, the higher-sounding strings don't squeak as much, so you can leave a guide finger on them. You'll get a more musical sound. And less scratch. #classicalguitarshed #guitar #classicalguitar #music #guitartips #guitarlife #guitarlove #learnguitar #guitarplayer #dontfret #guitarmastery #easyguitar #nosqueak #bassscratch #noscratch #nosqueakbass #playmusically

My friend Oswald is very sensitive, so please handle with care. With CARE I said! Don't make me cry my eyes get all red and people will laugh at me. Want to turn your practice session into sheer paradise? Here's how. The word Paradise comes from the Greek for 'walled garden.' Go with your guitar into an imaginary walled garden, and close the door on the rest of the world. You'll emerge refreshed and rejuvenated. And your guitar playing will be heavenly. Transcript: You may already know this, but the word paradise comes from Greek. That means a walled garden. And so one of the wonderful things about guitar practice is that we can create a paradise of it simply by building a wall around it and enjoying our time with it. And so how do we do that? We block ourselves away from all of the outside world. First off, just the physical things. Turn off the TV and see your other stuff that you're listening to. Say, Honey, don't bother me for the next 30 minutes. Close the door. Anything that you can do to block it away. And then next you just focus your complete attention on what you're doing. So then just enjoy being in the garden. And that means where your fingers are feeling your fingertips, feeling your body, body awareness inside of your muscles and your bones. And when other thoughts try to poke their head over the wall, you just say, Not now, please. And you just bring your attention back and you just do it over and over again. And in the end, you leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed like you've been spending time in paradise. #classicalguitarshed #guitar #classicalguitar #music #guitartips #guitarlife #guitarlove #learnguitar #guitarplayer #dontfret #guitarmastery #ultimatepractice #paradiseguitar #heavenlyguitar #heavensent #walledgarden #closethedoor #notnowthankyou #uninterruptedpractice #refresh #rejuvenate

ClassicalGuitarShed.com can help you on the journey. If you want to rise to new levels in your playing, it just takes time and strategic work. To play classical guitar well, you need to know: * how to hold and touch the guitar - form and positioning * how to move your fingers and hands - efficient, clean, and fluid * how to learn pieces - reading music, understanding what you see, ingraining, polishing * how to craft the music so it is beautiful - swells and fades, rhythm, touch * how to practice so all these skills improve over time and don't go away At the root of beautiful playing is a solid technique (aka “the way your hands move”). You may have beautiful music in your head, but if your hands can't play it, it won't come out of the guitar. But bad technique puts a limit on your playing. Speed, tone quality, and control can suffer. Good technique gets stronger and more instinctive with every practice. It forms the bedrock foundation for your music. And you may want to understand music so you learn it more easily and it makes more sense. This can help you avoid the excess frustration and dismay that comes with shoddy practice and prolonged confusion. But playing the notes is not enough. Like an actor bring words to life, we breathe life into our pieces. And we can do this in an organized way, day in and day out, reliably. Great musicians can play wonderfully in any mood. They do not rely on emotions. Instead, they create music that affects our emotions. This is a trained skill, not an inborn talent. Playing classical guitar is a long-term study. It's something we do in our homes as part of our days. We play for ourselves, for the quality it adds to life. We may enjoy playing guitar for others, but most of the time we are alone with our work. There are methods and formulas for great practice. We can use our time well so that see more progress. We can fix the problems and erase the mistakes. And we can enjoy conquering the plentiful challenges that classical guitar music offers. If you plan to play classical guitar for any length of time, it is worth it to get help. It's not something we can do on our own, like folk music. I have a structured and organized course to help you play classical guitar. Cathelijne Blok is kunsthistoricus, schrijfster én oprichter van kunstcollectief The Tittymag. The Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, is perhaps the most well-known figure associated with Tibetan Buddhism. Always add left-hand finger exercises into your practice. A few minutes of hammer-ons, pull-offs, and stretches will do the trick. It's a great way to train your fingers. They'll get stronger, stretch further, and become more precise. #classicalguitarshed #guitar #classicalguitar #music #guitartips #guitarlife #guitarlove #learnguitar #guitarplayer #stretch #strength #dexterity #lefthand #lefthandexercises #slurs #hammerons #pulloffs #improveyourplaying

I had some fun with this experiment in the desert, and I'm grateful to Bellwether for the support to make it happen. If you want to win some of the coffee, the link is here: https://bellwethercoffee.com/the-future-is-electric/ One more thing - a full roast cycle worked out at around 0.6kwh/kg (this is both the preheat energy and the roasting energy). It took a while to work out the usage and then double check against Bellwether’s own calculations. This documentary goes behind the scenes of the greatest spectacle of Ancient Rome as it closely follows the legendary rise of the young Scorpus from a slave to one of the most successful charioteers in the lion’s den at the impressive Circus Maximus, which held more than 150,000 spectators. At the time, chariot races were as popular as football or Formula 1 are today. They were an integral part of society that linked the emperor to the people: everyone identified with them. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. Miranda Suripatty denkt daar heel anders over.
