Keep your guitar practice short and focused. 20 to 30 minutes is perfect. Give it laser-like attention, and don't waste a second. Then take a break. If you can, come back to it later, and do the same again. It's the best way of using your time. #classicalguitarshed #guitar #classicalguitar #music #guitartips #practicetip #routine #focus #practiceboost #twentytothirtyminutes

Making percussive sounds on your guitar is great fun. People love to see it done. But how do we even start to learn how to do it? One useful way is to think of one hand as the leader. Get your right hand tapping on your chosen beats and practice that first. Then let your left hand fill in any gaps. With a bit of practice, you'll be tapping like August Rush. #classicalguitarshed #guitar #classicalguitar #music #guitartips #practicetip #easytapping #percussion #guitarpercussion #onehandleading #fillthegaps #righthand #lefthand

Have you ever seen a tuning fork at 10,000 FPS? Small clarification: the large fork has a 180hz tone when analyzed with a frequency detector (and held up to your ear), but also higher overtones which is mostly what's heard on the microphone. I should have mentioned the overtones but slipped my mind when filming. Sorry! #shorts

Cells are biological robots. They don’t want anything, they don’t feel anything. They are never sad or happy. They just are, right here, right now. They are as conscious as a stone or a chair or a neutron star. Cells just follow their programming that has been evolving and changing for billions of years, molded by natural selection. They are impossible machines and yet, here they are, driven entirely by the fundamental forces of the universe. The smallest unit of life, right at the border where physics becomes biology. Sometimes, to get a truer understanding of how amazing something is, you need to hold your breath and dive in really deep. So, what are cells and how do they work? ClassicalGuitarShed.com can help you on the journey. If you want to rise to new levels in your playing, it just takes time and strategic work. To play classical guitar well, you need to know: * how to hold and touch the guitar - form and positioning * how to move your fingers and hands - efficient, clean, and fluid * how to learn pieces - reading music, understanding what you see, ingraining, polishing * how to craft the music so it is beautiful - swells and fades, rhythm, touch * how to practice so all these skills improve over time and don't go away At the root of beautiful playing is a solid technique (aka “the way your hands move”). You may have beautiful music in your head, but if your hands can't play it, it won't come out of the guitar. But bad technique puts a limit on your playing. Speed, tone quality, and control can suffer. Good technique gets stronger and more instinctive with every practice. It forms the bedrock foundation for your music. And you may want to understand music so you learn it more easily and it makes more sense. This can help you avoid the excess frustration and dismay that comes with shoddy practice and prolonged confusion. But playing the notes is not enough. Like an actor bring words to life, we breathe life into our pieces. And we can do this in an organized way, day in and day out, reliably. Great musicians can play wonderfully in any mood. They do not rely on emotions. Instead, they create music that affects our emotions. This is a trained skill, not an inborn talent. Playing classical guitar is a long-term study. It's something we do in our homes as part of our days. We play for ourselves, for the quality it adds to life. We may enjoy playing guitar for others, but most of the time we are alone with our work. There are methods and formulas for great practice. We can use our time well so that see more progress. We can fix the problems and erase the mistakes. And we can enjoy conquering the plentiful challenges that classical guitar music offers. If you plan to play classical guitar for any length of time, it is worth it to get help. It's not something we can do on our own, like folk music. I have a structured and organized course to help you play classical guitar. If you like, you can learn more here: https://classicalguitarshed.com/membership/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video&utm_campaign=Chopin_Nocturno_Op_9_No_2_Free_Classical_Guitar_Sheet_Music&utm_content=tGEKQFD23dw If you would like to hear me (Allen Mathews) playing, visit my other youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/allenmathews/

During the Second World War, the air forces of the Allied nations used a variety of practice bombs to train bombardiers and ground attack pilots without the dangers inherent in using live explosives. For British Commonwealth forces, the most common type of practice bomb was the 11.5 lb Mk.I, which could be filled with either smoke composition for daylight bombing or flash powder for night bombing. Tuning forks are fun. Try this. Tap one to get it vibrating, and put it on your head in front of your ear. You can hear it resonate inside your head. It's science. But this is weird. Put it on the side of your head, and the sound rings out on the opposite side. Why? The Coturn CT-01 is a premium portable rechargeable bluetooth-equipped vinyl record player I first reviewed in 2021. The one I tested back then had some issues. I now have a newer version that promises to resolve these problems. Time to do some tests. RE-UPLOADED - This video has been re-uploaded in order to revise the tracking force tests to show the accurate result for a spring loaded tonearm. Originally I thought the arm was weighted rather than sprung, and as a result used the incorrect technique to measure the tracking force. The results now are approximately 0.5g less. So not a massive difference to what I got before but I didn't want to leave the video with inaccurate information. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Because subscribers already got a notification for the first upload, I turned the notification option off for this re-up as I don't want to spam people. I paid for my first CT-01 on Kickstarter, I then paid £75 import duty to receive a non-functioning replacement and then finally I've paid another £95 duty to receive the one shown here. I’m returning my non-functioning one. So at the end, I’m left with one turntable, which I paid for. MIC ISSUES - were caused by a new wireless mic being used too near a wireless modem and picking up interference. I’ve relocated the modem now. It’s aimed at people with no previous experience doing a job like this and has the goal of demystifying the process. It covers everything including the design of the wiring diagram, tools and supplies, sensors, the wiring process itself as well as the install and physical location of the ECU and associated components. So, let’s get started Now before we start any work on wiring, what we need to do is create a wiring diagram. A wiring diagram is by far the most important part of the job and it will be something that you will be constantly referencing throughout the install. Now regardless of whether you use a flying lead harness or building the harness from scratch you will need some specialized tools. A really helpful tool is a set of wire stripping pliers. They enable you to quickly, neatly and consistently strip wires and this can really save time and effort because you will be stripping a minimum of 100 wires on any standalone install. The next thing you need are crimping pliers suitable for crimping small pins that go onto for thin gauge wires. You can not crimp ECU pins with something like this. The numbers on the pliers correspond to different wire gauges, but this isn’t set in stone and may vary depending on wire insulation thickness and quality. Once you crimp a few pins you will see that the quality of your crimping improves quickly. These are 20 dollar pliers I got from banggood and honestly they worked just fine for me. If you want something a bit better you can use these ones from Molex. Once you’re ready to start wiring it’s a good idea to lay and organize everything on a nice flat surface. It’s also really helpful to out print the wiring diagram for reference on a large format paper because you’lll be looking at this a lot. Now what you’ll essentially be doing during the wiring process is connecting the ECU connector to sensor, injector, coil and other connectors. Basically you’re joining connectors to other connectors. When it comes to connectors you should always first figure out what kind of a connector you’re working with before stripping and crimping anything. Some connectors are known as pull to seat. This means that you first pass the corresponding wire through the connector and only strip and crimp after this. The final step is pulling the wire back until the pin is seated into its slot. Other connectors maybe an opposite process, so you will strip and crimp the wire and then push it into the connector until it’s seated. So definitely check before crimping anything. When it comes to the direction of wiring you have two choices. You can start at the engine end or the ECU end. I decided to start at the engine end. This means that you basically wire up all the sensor connectors and then organize and group all the wires and finally find a suitable place through which you enter the cabin and then connect everything into the ECU connector. I also decided to install my expandable braided wire sleeves at this point although this is not recommended until you’re sure that everything is connected properly and works as it should. I decided to ignore this because the wire sleeving can easily be opened later up for repairs and changes and because I wanted to avoid the extra work of disconnecting everything and then sleeving and then reconnecting. I chose the cabin for the location of the ECU as it’s recommended to keep the ECU away from the temperature fluctuations and vibrations present inside the engine bay. Having the ECU in the cabin is also the most convenient location because you’ll be often hooking up with a USB cable to the ECU for tuning purposes. I bought a suitable sized aluminum plate which I drilled and taped and then painted black. I then simply bolted the ECU together with the relays and the fuse box to the plate. The Nobel Prize in physics in 2022 went to scientists who, for over 40 years, have carried out a series of experiments indicating that, contrary to materialist expectations, physical entities do not have standalone existence but are, in fact, products of observation. This result is extraordinarily relevant to our understanding of the nature of reality, and so Essentia Foundation, in collaboration with the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, Vienna, of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (home to Prof. Anton Zeilinger, one of 2022's Nobel Laureates in physics), organized a conference discussing the implications of this result. The conference was hosted by IQOQI-Vienna’s Dr. Markus Müller and featured seven other speakers. In this presentation, Nuriya Nurgalieva, M.Sc., discusses the ontological implications of thought experiments on a quantum computer. Copyright © 2022 by Essentia Foundation. Cairo, March 2017: Construction workers make a spectacular discovery beneath metres of rubble. At the bottom of a deep pit, buried in mud and debris, lies an enormous crowned stone head. Nearby the torso and plinth. These are the remains of a colossal quartzite statue, 9 metres high and weighing several tons. It’s an archaeological sensation, a clear indication that this was once the heart of an ancient, legendary metropolis: Heliopolis. The battle to secure the site for archaeological exploration and excavating the ancient city’s remains is ongoing: it’s a race against time to save a key part of what remains of ancient Egypt’s heritage. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature.
