You have probably heard people saying that the problem with quantum mechanics is that it's non-local or that it's impossible to understand or that it defies common sense. But the problem is much simpler, it's that quantum mechanics is a linear theory and therefore doesn't correctly reproduce chaos. Physicists have known this for a long time but it's rarely discussed. In this video I explain what the problem is, what physicists have done to try and solve it, and why that solution doesn't work. Part of 'Vande Guru Paramparaam' - A Spiritual Musical Series. Our humble prostrations to the legendary creators of this masterpiece - Lyrics & Music: Sri Papanasam Sivan. Originally rendered by Sri M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. What better agency than Music can there be to inspire the young and aged alike? A team of talented kids spearheaded by Sooryagayathri, Rahul Vellal, Bhavya Ganapathi, Raghuram Manikandan, Paavani Cotah and Sooryanarayanan have played their parts in transferring the Transcendental Truth through their dulcet voices. The musical videos in this series have already won acclaim from millions of viewers across the globe. It's now time for us to bow before the lineage of Gurus and relish the beatitude of divine buoyancy. Vande Guru Paramparaam! Vande Guru Paramparaam! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Pranam… Please note that the following explanation is just for the sake of awareness. Let us all dwell in the real ESSENCE of the beautiful composition. Here is a humble clarification regarding the pronunciation aspect in this song – ‘Deena Karunakarane Nataraja’. As you all know, with Bhagavan’s grace we have never compromised on pronunciation aspects of any language in ‘Vande Guru Paramparaam’ series. Also, we stick to the regional dialects (local accents) of the respective language. In this song too, we have taken care to maintain the regional nativity and authenticity of the Tamil language. Pronunciation of words like ‘नीलकण्ठ - nīlakaṇṭha’, or ‘आदि अन्त - ādi anta’, will be sounding unusual to non-Tamilians. Please note that there are no ‘mahāprāṇāḥ’ (high effort letters, as they call it) in Tamil. ‘nīlakaṇṭha’ is pronounced as ’नीलकण्ट - Neelakanta’ or sometimes even ‘नीलगण्ड - 'Neelaganda’. That’s how the system is. That’s the beauty too. Being an ardent lover of all languages, I personally get deep into the nuances of it with all ‘craziness’ indeed, and love the ‘varieties’; and through these varieties, indeed enjoy that ONENESS of Bhagavan. Prayers, Kuldeep. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Error: In spite of thorough research we have had a slip in a letter in the Tamil Subtitle. ‘என்னையும் இரங்கி’ at time stamp 0:32 has to be ‘ர’, not ‘ற’. Please note that we have sung it properly and also have given the meaning as 'benignly'. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has set off a new arms race. Countries like Germany are announcing billions of euros in new military spending, and historically neutral nations like Sweden and Finland are now intent on joining NATO. And polls indicate that many of these moves have broad public support. But some believe in a different path for Europe, one that rejects the submission of the continent to both US and Russian interests: neutrality. On May 13, our own Yanis Varoufakis issued the Athens Declaration with Jeremy Corbyn and Ece Temelkuran, calling for such a path. Does neutrality mean indifference in the face of a war of aggression and all the suffering that follows? Can an independent Europe lead the way towards peace? Or is it just a pipedream in a world of nuclear weapons, colossal armies and escalating tensions? Our panel, including Yanis Varoufakis, Erik Edman and more, investigate. The original concept for this wheel was based on a project from Osaka University. The wheel is an omni directional wheel, normally these have smaller wheels around the circumference of a bigger wheel, and I’ve done quite a few omni-wheel projects in my channel. In this case though, it’s a ball. The wheel is split into two hemispheres which can rotate freely and independently, this allows the wheel to be driven actively in one axis and passively in the other. There’s only one small issue though, which is what happens with the active axis is driven so the peak of the hemisphere touches the ground, because the hemisphere can no longer rotate. For that reason, there’s a little wheel in the top of the hemispheres. This does limit ground clearance when the wheel is in this position, but this is no worse than a standard omni wheel with little wheels around its circumference. The probability of driving on the little wheel for any length of time is also pretty small, so we’ll live with that part of the design for now. Three days - three bikes. A Yamaha TZR 125 R, a Ducati 900ss and Honda NX250 Dominator. Each one an eye opener for a beginner rider. My first bike, the TZR, is considered the wrong first bike by many and today I'd like to explain why I think there's really no such thing as a "right" first bike and that making mistakes is a good thing. Also in this video I'm talking about the premature demise of the engine on the tzr125, the humbling experience of riding a brutal air-cooled Ducati and the first ride on my new bike. The all-rounder dual sport/mini adventure bike from the 90s that came before its time but is a real gem. I also take that bike on my first ever attempt at off-roading (with -on road tires). Waldemar Januszczak presents this battle between two of the early 20th Century's best-loved painter, Walter Sickert & John Singer Sargent. The film focuses on some of the most beautiful and alarming paintings ever made in this country; evokes the long-lost atmosphere of Edwardian London; and above all, shows that these two immigrants were waging a war over nothing less than the future soul of British art. 🥊 Who won?
