Codeine metabolism happens in the liver and is mediated primarily in the first pass by CYP 2D6 (to morphine) and CYP 3A4 (norcodeine). Codeine and morphine can be glucuronidated in a second pass of metabolism, but watch for renal function in hospitalized patients as morphine-6-glucuronide is renally excreted. Because it is pharmacologically active as an analgesic as well, use caution in patients with renal failure. Genetic mutations in 2D6 have been observed and result in different pharmacokinetics for codeine. See references below. This case is 2 cases combined. Both are de-identified. Is this the most efficient space program in the world? Throughout the history of spaceflight we’ve seen some incredible achievements take place, but there's one country that isn’t often mentioned in the history of spaceflight, and that country is India. This video looks at the efficiency of India’s space program when it comes to cost saving and building rockets. Get in touch with RageRacing and ask about the drop links: https://www.instagram.com/rageracing/?hl=en After quite some time it's time for an AW11 centered video and in this one we're reviewing, installing and testing out drop links for the AW11 made by fellow mr2 mk1 enthusiast and an awesome car guy Rage Racing. Did you notice that there's more names for drop links than for almost any other car part. Sway bar links, anti-roll bar links, stabilizer links... what do you call them? As many of you know, the AW11 aftermarket kinda sucks. It's a cool car but it's not a very common and popular platform so finding genuinely good stuff to modify your suspension with is kinda hard. Especially if you live in the Balkans like me or some other part of the world that isn't the USA. An example of a weak Toyota MR2 mk1 aftermarket are the drop links. That are very few options available and most of the ones out there aren't very good really. Yes, you can still buy brand new OEM drop links for the AW11 directly from Toyota, but they cost an ridiculous amount of money for being completely non-adjustable and pretty thin which ultimately makes them unsuited to modified suspensions. Because you can't adjust their length they won't work for lowered cars or cars with aftermarket sway bars (anti roll bars). When I was rebuilding my suspension I decided not to fork out the ridiculous amount of money for the OEM drop links and I also couldn't justify paying a lot of shipping fees and customs to import something. So I decided to build my own. I imagine that as an AW11 enthusiast Rage Racing faced a similar conundrum, but unlike me he didn't build hideous DIY junk, but an incredibly serious and strong drop link that outdoes pretty much anything on the aftermarket. In this video we're reviewing, installing and testing out the drop links. 00:00 - AW11 aftermarket 02:15 - My DIY drop links 04:58 - New drop links overview 08:13 - Install 09:11 - Test drive A special thank you to my patrons: Daniel Peter Della Flora Daniel Morgan William Richard Pepe Brian Durning D4A merch: https://teespring.com/en-GB/d4a-merch Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/d4a #d4a #aw11 #droplinks

Go to https://buyraycon.com/nilered for 15% off your order! Brought to you by Raycon NOTE 1: I have revised my opinion about what it smells like. In the video, I said it was like an indoor pool and I correlated it to the chlorine. However, I think it's more accurate to say the pool locker room or shower. It is musty/moldy, with a background of pool smell. NOTE 2: After posting this video, I got a few messages from people saying that in their experience, cyanide DOES smell like almonds. So, I spent an hour tonight doing some tests, and I think the results are interesting. I did some direct comparisons and the smell of cyanide is distinctly different from the smell of almonds. However, if I EAT the almonds, there is sometimes a faint taste of cyanide. I think this is because sweet almonds still have a very small amount of amygdalin in them, which can release HCN. I don't think it's enough to smell in open air, but in your mouth it can be concentrated enough to be detected at the back of the nose. It's subtle, but it is definitely part of the flavor profile. So, while I still don't think it's accurate to say that it smells like almonds, for some people, it might be similar to the taste. To make that connection though, the person needs to a) be able to smell HCN and b) be particularly aware of that part of the flavor. I can smell the HCN, but I never noticed it in the flavor of almonds, so I didn't make the connection. I was even looking for a similarity and eating almonds at the same time, but never noticed it. It was only when I became very familiar with the smell of HCN that I started noticing it in almonds. What's interesting too, is that now after noticing it, I feel like I've started to associate the smell with almonds. It's no longer just a "chemical" smell and it feels more almondy. However, on the flip side, I feel like almonds taste worse and are more "chemically." But either way, I still don't think that saying it smells like almonds or bitter almonds is accurate or helpful. However, based on the messages I've received, some people are naturally associating cyanide with almonds (sometimes without knowing that this was even a thing and not even knowing they were smelling cyanide). This has piqued my interest and I think it could be fun to get to the bottom of this and to do a trial with a lot more people. ■ Pre-order the NileRed BZ Reaction Kit - https://inqfactory.com/nilered ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merch - https://nilered.tv/store ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join the community: Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/nilered Discord - https://discord.com/invite/3BT6UHf NileRed Newsletter - https://nile.red/home#newsletter You can also find me here: Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/NileRed2 Instagram - https://m.instagram.com/nile.red Twitter - https://mobile.twitter.com/NileRed2 Nile talks about lab safety: https://youtu.be/ftACSEJ6DZA Music in credits (Walker by SORRYSINES): https://soundcloud.com/sorrysines/walker

FAQ Q) Why are there comments from a week ago when this video has just gone live today? A) Patrons usually have early access to videos. I'll show the first version of a video on Patreon and often the feedback I get results in a video going through further revisions to improve it. e.g. Fix audio issues, clarify points, add extra footage or cut extraneous things out. The video that goes live on youtube is the final version. Q) Why weren’t the controls labeled with Braille? A) If something is used regularly - operating it becomes second nature. ‘Light Switch’ isn’t written above a light switch - and yet it’s possible to turn one on in the dark. There would be an introduction and orientation session with the machine - it wouldn’t just turn up in the post. So someone would sit you down - here on the left that’s the rewind and play - up for play down for rewind, give it a go, you hear how it works right? Good, got that? Now on the right you can feel those dials - this one here is the volume and this is the tone - give them a go, you can hear how they change the sound - yep, right on to the track selector, that’s this one in the middle.... ---------------SUBSCRIBE------------------ http://www.youtube.com/user/Techmoan?sub_confirmation=1 -------------Merchandise----------------- https://teespring.com/stores/techmoan-merch -------------SUPPORT--------------- This channel can be supported through Patreon https://www.patreon.com/techmoan *******Patrons usually have early access to videos******* ----------Outro Music----------- Over Time - Vibe Tracks https://youtu.be/VSSswVZSgJw ------Outro Sound Effect------ ThatSFXGuy - https://youtu.be/5M3-ZV5-QDM ------AFFILIATED LINKS/ADVERTISING NOTICE------- All links are Affiliated where possible. #mergerarbitrage #hedgefunds #trading #riskarbitrage Merger Arbitrage is an absolute return hedge fund trading strategy that aims to profit from predictable moves in stock prices that occur once a merger deal has been announced. 2020 has not been a great period for this strategy as a number of big deals broke during the selloff in the first quarter. We will discuss a hypothetical merger between Apple and Spotify, see how it would work as a share for share deal and as a cash merger. We will talk about a few real deals like how Sycamore partners backed out of their deal to buy Victoria’s Secret. We will discuss deal break risk and antitrust law, discussing the failed merger between General Electric and Honeywell in 2000 which passed its FTC review, but the European Commission then blocked the deal. This was the first time that officials outside the US broke a merger between two American corporations already approved by the DOJ. Designing a new dog bed for an older small dog with special needs. My wiener dog Weenz is 15 years old with bad arthritis and has trouble getting in and out of his bed. This new bed keeps the cushion on the floor while holding his blanket in place. Tom Quayle's recent video "HOW TO VISUALISE THE FRETBOARD" Reminded me of some very simple hacks, that will speed up the process if you already know your 3 note per string or CAGED scales on the Guitar. The secret is to build on your existing knowledge of the Fretboard, using either 3 note per string or CAGED scale shapes, then and introduce the Note functions using a simple memory technique called an "Overlay". Very quickly you'll be able to recognise intervals and note functions and quickly see how they relate to each other on the neck of your guitar. 00:00 Introduction 00:48 What is a Note Function? 02:56 Why Learn Note Functions? 05:08 What's the problem? 05:48 What's an Overlay? 07:53 G to B String Problems 08:58 3 Note Per String Fragments Overlay 14:47 3 Note Per String Octave Overlays 18:38 CAGED Octave Overlays 22:14 Mental Imagery 24:33 The power of Noodling! 25:29 Using Tunes 26:06 Using Training Videos 27:02 Adding alterations 27:57 Summary PDF of all the Shapes: https://bit.ly/2Gbukqw Tom's original video: https://youtu.be/dhwix_UAkm0 Intervals Training Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL6Bs51gP7UquopyYyvEIntZWZ3To1I6xu Thumbnail Photo by Joel Wyncott on Unsplash

I've posted a few videos about awesome equipment I get to use in the lab (and plan to post many more because big fancy machines are awesome) but I haven't actually explained any of my research on the channel! Well that ends today, with a real honest-to-goodness conference talk I gave this January. In our lab, we grow "rocksalt" PbSe crystals (with a structure that looks like a 3D checkerboard) on top of "zincblende" InAs crystals (with a structure that looks like a bunch of methanes stuck together). So bust out your memory of high school chemistry and learn how bonding, charges, and crystalline symmetry all matter to actual scientific research going on right now at UCSB and Stanford! Big thanks to MROP, the Materials Research Outreach Program, for having me as a speaker, and also big thanks to Ram Seshadri, Director of the Materials Research Laboratory, for giving me the OK to share this recording! http://www.mrl.ucsb.edu/materials-research-outreach-program If anybody's ludicrously curious, here's the paper this talk was based on: doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevMaterials.4.033402 Check out the other social media for updates and ramblings: https://www.facebook.com/AlphaPhoenixChannel/ https://twitter.com/Alpha__Phoenix #Materials #Physics #Crystals Music in this video: I Dunno by grapes is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/) http://ccmixter.org/files/grapes/16626

But the problem is… I’m not a pianist. I’m just a guitarist. Hope you like it! Tetiana is the most epic piano teacher for being apart of this video go check her out! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCebbxAv3ujWFK99csPsO6Gw/videos Here’s what the detective on Fiverr uncovered about Liszt and piano practice: “Hi there, After a couple of hours of searching "shortcuts" etc on how to learn this piece - the general consensus seems to be that there are none! Many experienced piano players have stated that they have practised for years, and have still not truly mastered this piece. However, some potentially useful advice: In the beginning, your focus shouldn't really be on speed and accuracy, especially at the beginning. If you can afford it and can find one, getting a good teacher would help. However, assuming you do not wish to, and really want to embark on this ridiculously difficult challenge - here's my advice as someone who has been self-teaching piano for a few years. Focus on getting the movements right. This is especially true if you're tackling something difficult: poor hand movements can cause injury, especially when attempting advanced pieces. As a rule of thumb, if you're planning to learn anything beyond ~grade 5 material, technique should really be your main priority. If done right, playing the piano should feel really effortless. It is possible to play demanding repertoire for several hours straight, and not feel any sense of tiredness at all. I know it because I've experienced it firsthand. If you're getting any muscle pain or joint aches etc., you're doing it wrong. Period. Figure out how to fix it. On how to acquire "technique": There are several things to be noted here. - You should increasingly learn to notice tension developing in any part of the body. Try and be aware of anatomy as well -- fingers DO NOT have muscles, the muscles that power movements of the fingers are in the palms and forearms. Body weight and strength from the forearm, back, shoulders, etc. is transferred via the fingers, and the fingers just act kind of like the 'medium' to transfer the energy: they are not supposed to take a beating. You should feel no strain on the fingers even after playing difficult passages for hours straight. The wrist and forearm should typically be kept level with the keys. Look up videos on piano posture on Youtube. Read up whatever you can on Pianostreet about technique (bernhard's posts are quite good). Also watch all the videos on Youtube about technique you can find (look up pianocareer, Graham Fitch, cedarvillemusic and Josh Wright)”
